Really close to the convention center. Need a place to crash after a long day working an event. Conveniently located, and great food options nearby. Quiet at night. Just had trouble finding the location initially since it’s not well marked.

Space was clean, no trouble with parking, across the street from Perly's! Close to Poe museum and Virginia Holocaust museum, and convenient to other destinations. Clear communication from host. There are no external windows, so you have no sense for what the weather is like outside.

Nice little place to stay for a few days in downtown Richmond. Walking distance to some great places to eat like Perly's and Lillie Pearl.Hosts warn that parking is on a first-come basis but there were spots available and this was marathon weekend.

I was kind of surprised this had so many 5-star reviews. It was a perfectly adequate stay, but not 5-star by any means. The space has the essentials, but the bathroom is on the main floor, and the bedroom is lofted up a steep set of stairs. The bed must be a foam mattress that's worn in because for 2 people we spent all night rolling into the middle and hitting one another. There are two large glass windows that have no coverings so there is light streaming in from the hallways all night long. There is no way to make the space fully dark. The directions to find the entrance were vague, it would have been helpful to know we needed to go around back to the archways to access the space. Additionally, the parking lot is through a very messy and dirty alley behind the building.All-in-all, it was a fine place if you can't find anything else. I would not stay again, though. I would get better sleep at a cheap motel.

The apartment had all we needed to feel comfortable. The complex could be a bit noisy at times, but it was to be expected and of no fault of the host. Everything was easy to find in the apartment, the trash pickup was convenient. Everything was a short walk or drive away. Would stay here again!

Stayed here for 4 nights for a friend's wedding. A basement loft that feels open and airy, despite no external windows. Well equipped and clean, it was a great space for one or two people. I wish it had a kettle for the kitchen but otherwise I had everything I could want, including in-suite laundry. The location is great - there's tons of restaurants and shops nearby, although no grocery stores but my understanding is that's a general Richmond issue!

Clean and convenient; close to nice restaurants. Well stocked with all basics. Walking distance to riverfront area. Parking was not an issue but the process to get the parking pass a little stressful on arrival when guests are unfamiliar with the area but the written instructions are spot on. Only surprise, interior ground floor unit with no windows. Still, lighting was good, and everything well appointed and comfortable.

Very clean property in a desirable location. It was a great landing spot for seeing a show at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront. The unit was the perfect size and very cozy. The bed was comfortable and we had all the linens and things we needed for a two night stay. The common area often smelled like someone was having a chill time, but it didn't permeate into the unit. We did manage to get a parking spot, but we decided not to move the car as we feared the spot would be taken once we returned. We would stay here again.

Overall a great place. Parking was not great, half of the spaces are currently not available due to construction and the shortest walk to the parking lot was through a filthy alley. Place was clean and bed very comfy. Close to VCU, FAN district and convention center but neighborhood is a little run down with many closed stores and restaurants. No issues with door lock code etc. Only window was into the atrium and had blinds but the 2 glass brick openings had none so a lot of light coming in the bedroom all night long. Overall great tho and I would rent it again.

Fantastic spot

My husband and I attended a local convention at the convention center. This place was only a 5 minute walk and it had free parking. It's a loft apartment that was plenty big for us for the three nights we were there. Upon entry, it was extremely clean. It was well stocked not only with toilet paper and paper towels, but they also provided laundry soap, dish soap, and dishwasher soap as well! The bed was comfortable, not too hard, not too soft. The only VERY MINOR things I encourage the people who host this to think about are 1: Have another blanket in addition a comforter. The comforter was too much, but just the sheet wasn't quite enough. :-D 2. Put blinds on the windows. The hall light was really bright at night when trying to sleep. And those are really very minor issues indeed. It was one of the cleanest places I've been and we were really very happy. I also have to get a shout out to them. They were MORE than gracious with us. When we woke up Sunday morning and packed our van, it wouldn't start. We were a little panicky because we didn't know what to do. I contacted the host and they responded right away and said we could stay in the lost as long as we needed to take care of the issue. Five hours later, we finally got someone out to jump us and were able to return the parking pass. Most hosts would not have been so patient with our situation. I can not recommend this host enough.

Wonderful stay for Richmond!

Location was great!Parking lot was a little difficult to find at first. Plenty of parking and close to the entrance. Residents of building were friendly! Kitchen was well stocked and rental was clean!Highly recommend house slippers or flip flops to wear inside because the first floor was very slippery with socks!Easy check in and check out. Loved the property and will be back!

First the pros: it’s so close to the convention center, there’s washer and dryer in the unit. Kitchen appliances are amazing (all new), Bed was cozy and comfy! The host was a great communicator. The Best! The cons, the code we were given did not work, thanks to the host for texts! The building smelled of weed the whole time we were there. TV and WiFi were slow. Fans need to be cleaned they are full of dust. Please have cleaners clean under the bed, we found empty bottles underneath (we threw them away) and one of the bed legs was off. Need a rug in the bathroom. Becomes slippery when wet. Put blinds on the 2 open glass windows, they are so bright at night. Loud upper floor tenants, banging were heard at night. Again, if you want convenience to downtown, it’s a decent location.
