The Lodge
An open-concept living room , warm and cozy lounge with fireplace, country-style kitchen with breakfast bar and nook, and a dining area where everyone actually gathers. Every corner is designed for comfort.
Three Ways to Soak
A seven-person outdoor hot tub on the patio for starlit soaks. A shared skylit Jacuzzi with double sinks serving three of the guest rooms. And the master suite has its own private jetted tub with marble and stone accents.
The Sports Lounge
An 85" TV, pool table, poker table, foosball, bar with wine barrel table, and popcorn machine. Bring your own drinks, pull up a stool, and this room becomes the unofficial headquarters of every stay.
The Secret Gaming Room
Tucked away inside the lodge is a hidden gaming room — a dedicated theater-style setup with an Xbox, gaming play pass, and everything else needed to enjoy it. Or hangout and watch movies without anyone to bother you.
The Bedrooms
5 bedrooms sleeping up to 8, plus a magical treetop loft. The master suite has a king bed, private en-suite jetted tub, walk-in shower, and gorgeous marble and stone finishes. Three guest rooms have queen beds — one is ideal for young families with an attached child's bedroom. The Bear Room is a fun retreat for kids with two twin beds. The downstairs bath is handicap accessible.
The River & The Outdoors
River Stone Lodge sits directly across from the Middlebury River — rich with trout and dotted with swimming holes along scenic Route 125, where the Robert Frost Interpretive Trail also runs. Campfire ring with free firewood, outdoor dining, and 7 private acres. Moosalamoo National Recreation Area and Breadloaf Wilderness bring 85 miles of hiking and mountain biking right to your doorstep.
Skiing & Local Attractions
Middlebury Snow Bowl is your closest ski mountain. Middlebury's restaurant scene is close by. Burlington is about an hour north. A genuine working Vermont dairy farm offers private tours for our guests — approximately 40 minutes away and well worth the drive for families.
