No address provided for the house, but clear directions. Followed the directions to get to the house, and the picture provided was clearly the same house (though taken many years earlier before much wear and tear), so I knew it was the right place (the way the neighborhood is set up it could not have been any other house). The code to the door didn't work, it beeped as incorrect after the 3rd number. I tried the code and the door a few times. As I sat on the porch to reach out to the house's owner (who provided the directions), someone came out the house and said that it was not a house for rent. I spoke with him briefly and he asked about what number is on the door, which is a very specific way to ask if it is a right address, and ironically the picture provided did not have the address on the door in the picture because the door was open and someone was standing in the doorway (how did he know?). Anyways, I left and was not able to stay there.
I state this is a scam because either the owner is renting out a house that is occupied, not his, or misrepresented.
