Nice motel for a stay. Everything about the motel was very nice. The problem was the motel is not really walkable to dining options. If you stay here without a car, be prepared to uber/lyft or take public transportation.

There was excellent Mexican restaurant right down the block, delicious and inexpensive. Process of remodeling but first floor was great. Brought our dog and felt safe walking in the nearby neighborhood behind the Mexican restaurant. Red roof Inn diagonally was comedic.

This property is currently undergoing renovations to become Sparks by Hilton. I was in a renovated room. The new bed was very comfortable. The pillows are very soft so you may want to bring one from home if you like a firmer but not to firm pillow. No draws, clock or USB outlets in the renovated rooms. Bathroom renovated and clean. I recommend this property.
