I was excited to stay at this hotel due to Expedia rating. But evidently it must have been exaggerated by staff. Twenty minutes to check in, rotten apple in breakfast options, being woken up by the loud housecleaning staff each morning down the hall, dirty public bathroom, odd room set-up was all very disappointing.

The room was clean, shower was well pressurized (occasionally took a minute to heat up, but soon enough I was preparing for the fires of hell), and the breakfast included eggs and sausage with fresh fruits, cereal and a waffle maker. The cleaning staff was efficient, and the front desk was very helpful. Plenty of storage space. Mattress clean, drawers clean. 3 minute drive to a cute cafe on the way to the mountains- 2/3 triple crown trail heads were 7-10 mins away. Roanoke downtown was about 18 mins away. I don’t travel a lot so I just look for a clean room and basic amenities.

When traveling North to South, easy off and on I81. Inn quiet, clean, comfortable. Breakfast good. Really appreciated the hot eggs and sausage. Apple juice was very good. Staff friendly and efficient. Will stay here again in Nov of 2026.
