The main reason I gave lower ratings on some of the survey questions was due to an issue during check-in. I had already been charged by the Vrbo host, but when I arrived at Stonewall Resort, I was told there was no card on file and that I would need to pay again. It appeared that Stonewall needed to process payment through the host rather than charge me directly.I tried explaining to the Stonewall staff that a third party was handling the payment, but they were unable to verify or locate that information. After contacting the Vrbo host, they were very responsive and helpful in resolving the issue, which I greatly appreciated.My frustration was primarily with Stonewall Resort's inability to identify and address the payment issue while I was there in person. The host ultimately provided excellent assistance, but the situation created unnecessary confusion and inconvenience during check-in/check-out, as I had to deal with this twice during my stay.
