This is an excellent and convenient location, and features one of the few balconies in West Bay that are nearly over the beach. The property is clean,Spacious and functions beautifully. The manager was attentive and communicative, and saw that our needs were met when we requested a few extra items. I was here with my family of 8 and would certainly return!

Had the most wonderful stay here. The view was spectacular from our balcony. So nice to be so close to the beach with private lounge chairs. We always felt safe with the security they had. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Laundry was perfect for our needs. Lots of kitchen accessories and dishes.If we needed anything Ana was vey quick at getting back to us and helping us out. Such a lovely lady. Restaurants were all right there so never had to go very far for our meals if we didn’t feel like cooking. Thank you so much for having us and we will definitely be back.

There were a lot of positive things about this VRBO, but some problems. First the positives: location is excellent, right on the beach and an easy walk to diving, snorkeling and restaurants. Access to the beach is from a side corridor that is clean There is 24/7 security who are friendly and helpful. The views and sunsets are stunning Furniture is comfortable. It really served our needs well for a family of 8. Now not-so-positives: The place is getting a bit dated and could use a refresher. The BBQ is rusty but usable. The kitchen knives were all dull. The cookware is a mismatch of pots, pans, and lids. We had problems with wifii reception in the bedrooms, which was fixed when we complained. The dishwasher broke and they repaired it once, then it broke again and they replaced it. The fridge broke 3 times, and they repaired it 3 times, but not before our food was spoiled. In fairness, the onsite manager was very responsive to theses maintenance issues. She replaced some spoiled chicken and provided a small bottle of rum for the inconvenience. When we suggested a one night refund on our 21-night stay (given the number of deficiencies in what was a very expensive rental) we were advised by the o manager that the owner's willingness to do this was dependent on us providing a 5 star review. When we said that the two issues were unrelated, we did not hear back from them, and no refund was forthcoming. Left a bad taste in what was otherwise a good holiday.

Our stay at Coral Sands was amazing! The whole booking process, response timing, and helpfulness of everyone was seamless. The condo was beautiful and that front deck view priceless. Great location on West Bay. Easy access to water taxi and steps away from great snorkeling. Our group of 6 had a fantastic stay at this beautiful condo. Would definitely book again

Apartment is big and spacious. Amenities are in good shape. Bedrooms toilets are weirdly designed with glass blocks, not very private.It was very dirty when we arrived. After complaint, house management sent a new cleaner to fix it. It is the only unit of the condo that does not have front access to the beach. The only one you have to go all around the building to get inside. And this corridor had a very strong urine scent.Night guard is of no use. Did not know anything, of no help.Furniture dated, poor showers, slippery floors.Just in front of the beach, good part of the strip. A little noisy for relaxation but close to restaurants and shops.The pictures on the site are more interesting than reality. Quite outdated decoration.We also had a clogging issue that was solved.

This condo is right on the beach, the balcony overlooks the beach and the sunsets to the west. The location is excellent, several good restaurants on the beach and Kristi's is just up the street. Several small grocery stores within walking distance. Snorkeling is right offshore, there is a protected area next to the pier. We went several times, including at night! This is the place to stay if you like the beach and water sports. Crab races and fire jugglers on the beach at night, a great spot!

This place was awesome! It was everything the reviews had said it was. Great location-Right on the beach!, perfect host, great communication. Rides to and from the airport were arranged. They even stopped at a grocery store for us to stock up on food and beverages. Everything was simple for my first trip to Roatan. So many great restaurants and local food options within walking distance made the trip enjoyable. Water taxi to West End, Snorkeling. This place has it all. We will be back! Thank you

The view was amazing and right on the beach

We loved this place! It was our first time to Roatan and will be back. The view was amazing and the condo was clean. Ana did great at responding when we needed her and helped with anything we needed. The dishwasher didn’t work and the dryer does take 2 times to dry towels but other then that nothing else.

Absolute Paradise

This property was excellent, it will be hard to stay elsewhere next time we go. The pictures of the unit do it no justice, its very pretty and modern. The manager was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. The security on the property were very accommodating and helpful. The location couldn't have been any better. We frequently commented that it was probaby the best place to stay on the island and I feel that to be true.

Beautiful home on gorgeous beach

This property was exactly as pictured. Beautiful view on fantastic West Bay beach with walk-in snorkeling and a short water taxi away from funky, fun West End. The apartment was spacious, nicely furnished, clean, and equipped with everything you need (only bring personal items like soap, shampoo, etc). It is also in a somewhat quieter section of the beach than the big resorts. There were always ample lounge chairs out front and a friendly atmosphere among condo guests. The security guards were super nice. We felt completely safe. Far safer than on some other Caribbean islands. Overall, we had a great vacation here and will be back!

Amazing stay

We just returned, and I must say Roatan is now our favorite tropical vacation spot! This condo was perfect for our family. The location was great, right on West Bay Beach with amazing views. It was easy to get in and out of if you had a car (we did not, nor do you need one). Security present 24/7 made us feel even better with our teenagers, and we were even able to keep paddleboards and snorkel gear right down by the beach without issue. The condo was clean and well-equipped with basic amenities, full kitchen, grill, and washer/dryer. Plenty of safe drinking water is available as well as internet. The manager was easily available and answered all of our questions, even set up transportation. The owner was also available and helped with some You are next to Infinity Bay resort, but the people were not intrusive at all. The best snorkeling starts at Infinity Bay so the location is ideal. If you head out in the other direction, there is a small grocery store and several restaurants/bars with plenty of live music. It was not a crazy party atmosphere, just everyone relaxing and enjoying the beach. I do not have enough good things to say; we will definitely be back.

We had an overall good time, the location is excellent. The 1st morning we were there the front door shattered, it was extremely windy and it slammed itself. We reached out to the property manager and she was not polite initially, she later came around and stopped the aggressive behavior. Aside from that, it was great, wouldn’t have had any complaints if the property manager hadn’t been so abrasive and rude.

Awesome location, great condo

Had great stay, it was our first trip to Roatan and West Bay did not disappoint! Coral Sands is the perfect location with easy walking to the snorkeling reefs and lots of restaurant choices. Anita arranged for a taxi service to pick up from airport and stop at the main grocery store. I highly recommend as the mini-marts in West Bay are a lot smaller with not as much fresh produce/meats. There was a security guard at both the front and back of the property, felt safe. It seemed most all the West Bay properties had security. Condo unit was beautiful. Kitchen well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Nice showers. Bottled water connected to fridge was really nice. Taxis, water taxi, beach vendors all took US $, not credit cards, so plan on having some cash. Would return and stay at this unit again.

First Roatan VRBO Stay

We have been to Roatan several times and this was our first VBRO stay. The place is amazing. The location on the beach is perfect and the views/sunsets are world-class! Anita (property manager) was fantastic to woek with. She answered ALL of our questions both before and during our stay amazingly fast. I would highly recommend this to anyone considering a trip to Roatan.

Best location on the beach

If you see this property available book without hesitation! Beautifully appointed, spacious enough for 4 couples, clean, great AC. Property manager Anita was quick to respond and was always there to help with bookings, transportation and recommendations. But most importantly - location! Just few steps from clear turquoise waters of the ocean. Highly recommended!

Location can’t be beat!

This property has the best location! The beach is right out front, just steps away, and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Our kids loved it and had so much fun. There are restaurants and shops all within walking distance. They sent a driver to pick us up and stop for groceries on the way so we had everything we needed. Overall, amazing property! Hope to be back next summer!

Great week back in Roatan

We stayed here for a week with friends, 7 adults in total. I had stayed here previously with my family about 12 years ago, and it was pretty much the same as I remembered it. The property manager, Anita, was very communicative and available whenever we reached out. The central A/C went out right before we arrived, so we had a couple days of just A/C in the bedrooms while Anita worked to find a solution. She got a crew in on our third day and had a new split installed in the living room. This is one of the best locations you can stay in West Bay -- top floor, closest to the beach, but down the beach far enough where it feels private. When we go back, we'd probably look here again first.
