The cabin is small, but fine. Everything you need can be found in the cottage. Neat and clean. Environment is beautiful. It will take you like 45 minutes to drive to the cabin from the nearest town. The only thing that bothered us a lot: the many, many, many mosquitoes outside. It was impossible to sit outside or take a walk without being attacked by millions of them.
The property itself was nice! I could tell a lot of thought and effort went into this place.
However, Iâd you do not have a truck or SUV, I would recommend going somewhere else. We went here so we could go to cadomin area where the Whitehorse wildland is. We tried two separate approaches and the logging/mining roads made it impossible to get there. Finally needed up driving on paved highways to go to Hinton for a hike. There really isnât anything notable nearby if you donât have a truck. Also, we were stuck waiting for over an hour due to roadwork and the mosquitoes were something else (not the hosts fault obviously).
Hard to see and find in the dark, but just the right feel I was looking for in an old "cabin". Shower small - just in case you're a big person. But functional!
This is a perfect location for a little getaway. We saw went and scouted hunting and fishing spots and enjoyed the beautiful forests around Robb. The cabin was clean and quaint. We loved it.
Iâm a bigger guy so the ultra soft bed hurt by back a bit but otherwise I have nothing but great things to say!
We stayed in the cabin for 8 nights, and it was wonderful. The whole cabin is beautifully made, in great condition, and has all the amenities you need for a nice relaxing stay. The hamlet is in a great location, an easy drive to lots of rivers, lakes, forest trails, and Jasper National Park. There are even beautiful walking trails a short 5 minute walk from the cabin, great for the dogs!
If you are looking to get away from crowds and traditional tourist areas, but donât want to get too ârusticâ, this cabin is a perfect option. Itâs a lovely, cozy cabin with genuine local roots. Not only is it clean and well-maintained, but it is well-appointed and very comfortable. We were only able to stay for three nights, but will definitely return for an even longer stay. If you are not familiar with the area, Robb is a perfect home base to explore the Coal Branch.
Scott's cabin was the perfect spot for our relaxing weekend away. The place was clean, well maintained and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. Scott had left helpful tips on places to see in the area, and even recommended some dog walking spots in the area! Highly recommend this place, we hope to visit again soon!
