The hotel is currently being remod3led. The beds were decent and clean. The walls are thin and all the doors slam. They have kitchenettes with no dishes. And there was a cigarette smell coming through our bathroom vent.

Rooms were large and had recently been renovated. Good value for visiting Mayo Clinic. They had a shuttle but we had to be there at 5:46 am so could not take it. Lots of smokers outside, but hotel cannot control that.

The front desk person called hours prior to my stay to inform me that a king bed was no longer available due to reconstruction. I kept it anyway assuming we'd get 2 queens when he said it was a double. But it was one bed. The night was interrupted with noises from the heater in the room and construction sound in the early am. In the morning we went to get breakfast but everything was out. The waffle machine was empty, the juice was only water coming out. So we left. We will not rebook at this place.
