What a beautiful little spot just a few minutes from Austin.
I didnât know of the historic weight this motel had until I got there, and what a pleasant surprise to see this little oasis.
I wish I had stayed longer, but I only needed a place to spend the night and continue my trip. I will come back for sure and stay for a weekend.
Always a great place to stay that had memories for my parents as they spent their wedding night there in 1946â€ïž
So every time we have a family event we try to stay there.
We stayed here on a trip to visit Snowâs bbq. The location was easy to get to. The cottage was super cute and cozy. Has everything you need. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Snowâs BBQ.
I really enjoyed my stay at this charming historic property. The attention to detail in the rooms, the comfortable beds and the well kept grounds were unsurpassed. The location is also convenient to areas I regularly work. In future, this will be my first choice of a place to stay when working in the area.
This was my 4th stay at the Rainbow courts and the 3rd in the last two years. This is our come to place when we are in the Rockdale, Texas area, which is often. We like that it is not only very clean and fashionably furnished but reflects a taste of history when âmotor hotelsâ began in the decade1918 and the growing use of automobiles.
Great quiet spot just off of downtown Rockdale. Itâs an actual historic location with it being the Texas oldest active motel. Room was clean & nostalgic with a comfy feeling of staying at your favorite aunties/grannies house. Owners/managers are very friendly & try everything to help you have a great stay. Definitely will return if working in Rockdale again.
