We had a great time, and it was a nice place with everything that we needed. There was a slight misunderstanding, but they quickly made everything right.
Communication with host was quick, efficient, and friendly. The area is pretty remote in that there is nothing around within the town to eat- you have to get back on the highway to find something close. There is a tiny store near the house that has gas and convenient type foods. We loved going to the nearby (within 20 minutes) mountain roller-coaster in West Virginia. The home was overall clean, but the couch could use a cleaning as it smelled of dog. The home is older, but it was a perfect middle ground stop for our trip from Ohio to Oak Island, NC. We brought our dogs and would walk them over by the school across the street as there isn't much of a yard or sidewalks to walk them on. The home is on a somewhat busy street, but for one night it met our needs. One of the bedrooms does smell very strongly of a perfume that another reviewer also stated. However, I did LOVE the smell of the towels, so use that for the sheets- smells good but not as strong. ;) Overall, we would recommend the home based on the owner's kindness, the overall cleanliness, and it was perfect for a night!
This was our second time staying here. This home is very clean and well stocked with anything you may need during your stay. Itâs easy to find and easy to check in to. We will be back again.
We used this home as a half way layover on a trip and looked forward to the stay on the way back. Comfortable and clean. They have a fire pit with chairs so bring some wood. The host was easy to reach in the app and was very responsive.
The house is right off the 77 but very quiet! We stopped on the way home for North Carolina. Lots of food options the next exit up. Very clean and remote. Happy we picked it!
Stayed here on our way to Myrtle Beach. Ample beds, Fully stocked kitchen & linens, super close off highway. Small quiet town, great to relax. Gas station/store right down the street. Convenient & Clean. I would stay again.
I feel the property manager should warn people that thereâs nowhere to get any food after 2:30 PM. There is a small grocery store that doesnât have much. We may do the property itself was very nice. We were very comfortable. I feel you need to put a lamp in the living room so that we donât have to put up with the glare of the overhead light, you need to use less air freshener I am smell sensitive and it gave me a headache. Thank you for a nice place to stay.
This house is right off the exit on the way to the beach. It has plenty of beds. We just stayed one night. There was plenty of parking for several cars. This is the second time we stayed here. Anytime we go to the beach, this house will definitely be our stop over. It's reasonably priced, clean, comfy, and convenient.
The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was located right off the interstate which was convenient. I gave the location a 4 out 5 because if youâre looking for a location that has many restaurants/stores you will need to drive about 15-20 minutes. No big deal to do that. We would stay here again.
This was a cute little house in the quiet secluded mountain. The house has much potential and very cozy. Only suggestion is to add a cutting board to the kitchen :) otherwise a very cozy, relaxing night after a long drive from Illinois. And the local art on display is awesome!! We purchased a piece ourselves!
Very accommodating for our large family, including our infant. There was a pack n play with sheets and a high chair. The house was very neat and tidy, and checking in was simple. There was enough room for all nine of us plus two dogs. We will definitely be staying here next time! Loved the rocking bench on the back porch.
On a trip to North Myrtle Beach and stayed for one night with extended family with children. It was great as the kids could be outside playing and running around in the house too after a long trip. The house is older but kept in great condition and had thoughtful towel arrangements for each room. I would definitely recommend to others to stay as an alternative to a hotel. Had it been available on the return trip, would have booked again.
Thank you for a fun evening after traveling!
We stayed here for an overnight stop from Florida to Ohio and back. The house is clean and served itâs purpose well. Pack n play and high chair on site was helpful, less items for us to unpack. The backyard is private when exiting out the side door which works great with dogs across the street. Will stay again!
We had the best time staying in this house. It was a great space, very clean, and within 15 minutes of any place we needed to be. Iâm he check in and check out process were both super easy, but be sure to save check in info on your phone in case you donât have service (some of us did, some of us didnât). Once we were in wifi, we had no issues. Highly recommend!
Very convenient for attending a conference in Bluefield.
We 3 friends loved having our own rooms vs. sharing a hotel room for our weekend conference. We loved the comfortable spacious couch for talking time. Grateful!
This is an older house that is still clean and maintained well and perfect for a VRBO stay. Ashley (owner) communicated with us and always replied to any of my messages. The house is fully stocked with all the essentials. My family (4) had plenty of room and this was the perfect place to stay for us - <30 min from skiing in Ghent, WV and <1hr from horseback riding in Radford, VA. There is nothing open at this exit (just off I-71) past 9, but Princeton, WV is 12 mins away and everything you need is there. This is an old and beautiful community and we felt safe. A++++ Review - I recommend without any reservations.
