Our room was very clean and larger than expected. The staff are amazing and quickly respond to needs that need to be met. The in room dinners arrived hot and delicious. I would recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Gros Morne. Rocky Harbor is perfect.

Property on arrival looks great. Check in was a breeze with friendly helpful staff. When we got to the room it was disappointing. Rooms are very tired and in need of updates. Pillows were terrible. Washroom was old and beat up. Sink taps spin continuously with water running. Internet isn’t even useable. While the location and dinning options are awesome the rooms needs updating. Providing secure reliable internet in 2025 is standard

The Ocean View is a motel on the main road in windy Rocky Harbor. It has a restaurant and pub, but we chose a restaurant across the street for dinner. Our room did not face the ocean, but there was a nice patio right outside. There is a room with vending and ice machines, and best of all, glass bottles to fill with a choice of sparkling, warm still or cold still water. What a great solution to wasteful plastic bottled water. The sink is in a separate room from the toilet and shower. There is no counter by the sink. The wait for breakfast in the upstairs restaurant was exceedingly long. Rocky Harbor is a short drive to Western Brook Pond in Gros Morne park.
