The house itself is an architectural showpiece of generous proportions - both beautifully designed and built. Discover the beauty of Tasmania while using the lodge as your base, or simply stay and enjoy all that this magnificent location has to offer.

The living space comprises three bedrooms over two levels, two king bedrooms with ensuites and a further guest bedroom with a queen with access to another bathroom making it a welcome space for families and groups. Interiors showcase bespoke fittings and local artwork, Tasmanian timber floors and extensive glass that reveals stunning water, mountain and valley views at every chance. An open plan dining and lounge with cathedral ceilings is exactly where you’ll want to be, with the sleek black kitchen offering a dreamy space to create a comforting meal.

Lace up your boots and wander deep into and breathe in Tasmania’s World Heritage wilderness. You are just under an hour drive north to Coles Bay and Freycinet National Park (where you’ll find Wineglass Bay). Or head on down south to Triabunna and Maria Island National Park Ferry within 30 minutes away.

Local shops, galleries, cafes, a pharmacy, supermarkets and fuel stations can be found just a 10-minute drive away in nearby Swansea. Head over the road to the owner's favourite boutique winery at Mayfield Estate and be sure to book a sumptuous dinner at The Homestead Restaurant at Piermont Retreat or Waterloo in Swansea. Check out The Great Eastern Wine Drive, with quality cellar door experiences to be had at Springvale Wines, Cragie Knowe Vineyard, Gala Estate, Devil's Corner and Freycinet Vineyard.

- This property is on tank water and rainfall on the East Coast is sporadic so we encourage water to be used here consciously!
- Children welcome, however must be closely supervised
