This house was absolutely perfect for the six of us for our lake vacation. The hosts thought of everything, right down to labeling the kitchen cupboards so everything was easy to find. Host communication was fantastic, as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation home, and we would 100% stay again!

An excellent week in the Ozarks! We have stayed in the Ozarks often on for 40 years and this house was perfect for our stay. On this trip, we had two adults and five 18 year old girls.The owners are very organized with the check-in and check out process as well as probiding other information useful for our stay.The home has many kitchen necessities that were greatly appreciated. There was a cupboard filled with spices and coffee that were used daily! The bathrooms were stocked with towels as well as towels for the lake. The little extras, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap and shampoo in all of the bathrooms was noted and wonderful!The house was very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed all of the toys on the dock such as the paddle boards, kayak, and Lily pad. We utilized their games and even put together a 1000 piece puzzle that was in the house!The house is situated on a cove that was quiet and peaceful, and we floated and swam for hours right off of our dock. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Great 4th of July

We had a wonderful time at Calm Water Cove. The house had everything we needed. We were very thankful for being in the cove as the main channel of the ozarks was always quite rough. We enjoyed swimming off the dock, campfires and boat rides in our pontoon. One of the highlights was all the different fireworks we got to watch on the 4th of July from our pontoon!

Great Lake Destination

Beautiful home with great hosts! The weather was cool and rainy, but this house was the perfect place to snuggle in and be together playing games, cooking and watching movies. Had the weather been better, the house offers many amenities to enjoy the water! These hosts have thought of everything, and we had a terrific stay.

Family Getaway

We enjoyed the house very much! Had 6 adults and 5 children with plenty of room. The kids loved using the aqua lily off the dock and trying the paddle board and kayaks within the cove. We were there Monday through Friday and the lake and cove were very quiet early in the week. Only started seeing neighbors late on Thursday. We should have bought fire wood early in the week because it rained a bit and everything was wet so we couldn't get a fire going for smores our last night.

Family Lake time

The house was great. 2 families with teenagers. 2 rooms in lower level that the kids stayed in and 2 rooms on main level for the adults. Lots of space and big kitchen table for all to eat and play games. Great dock to fish or float in the cove. Overall a great time was had by all and the house has almost all you need.

Great property!

We had so much fun at this home on Lake of the Ozarks! Our family loved the calm cove and the large dock for swimming. The lilly pad and kayaks added adventure and we rented a pontoon one day to explore the rest of the lake. This house is lovely and had everything we needed to make meals and grill. There were many great places to sit outside and enjoy the lake and the views. The owners provided many extras and everything we needed. One of the best VRBO’s we have stayed in!

Such a wonderful place to stay

We had such a great vacation, staying at Calm Water Cove. We are a family of 6 and allowed some of our kids to bring friends. Comfortably slept 8. Great area, perfect dock for swimming, kayaking, tanning, etc. House had everything we could need. From kitchen supplies, to S’mores ingredients, beach towels, and so much more. I personally appreciate having nice shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, etc - felt just like home. Will definitely plan to stay again.

Great getaway for families and friends

A group of 10 (4 adults / 6 children) of us stayed here and we had a blast. The house was cozy and relaxing, the outdoor space was plentiful and quiet, and the kids had a blast with the kayaks. We would recommend this house and would definetly be coming back in the future.

Family lake getaway

Our family had a great time while staying in the lake house. We prepared most of our meals at home and the kitchen was well equipped. There was plenty of room for our larger family to dine together. We enjoyed coffee on the beautiful lake front deck in the mornings and ended each night with a fire (we brought our own wood). The kids fished a lot, but didn’t catch much. They really enjoyed the kayaks, floats, and water Lilly pad. Lots of good perks included with this stay, even life jackets provided. There were 11 of us and enough room for all. The house was clean and provided us all the necessities. We would certainly stay here again.

Great week of floating!

Our group of 8 had a great stay here. The dock is large and the area is perfect for floating and paddling without a lot of boat traffic. The house came with everything we needed to make all our meals, store leftovers, etc. The beds were comfortable, there were lots of towels and good toiletries provided, and we all enjoyed our time here!

Family Vacation

We loved Calm Water Cove! This was our first time to Lake of the Ozarks. There were activities for everyone—we rented a boat for tubing & cliff jumping. Some shopping & restaurants on the Bagnell Dam strip The Lake is peaceful to float around the cove or hang out on the dock. I found this beautiful property to be just as advertised.

Great Stay!

We had a fabulouse stay at Calm Water Cove. There were 11 of us, including 7 kids ages 1-13. The cove was perfect for swimming off the dock, using the lily pad, etc. We brought our boat and were able to easily access the lake and restaurants. The 4 bedrooms allowed for plenty of room for everyone to sleep. We appreciated all the included amenities so we didnt have to worry about packing towels, toiletries, soap, etc. We had a great stay and would love to return!

Well stocked, beautiful cozy home!

We were amazed at how well stocked the home was, including alot of little "extras" that really made you feel welcomed. We've stayed at alot of places that claim to be well stocked but these guys really went above and beyond! The house just had a cozy warm feel and the boat dock was an extra bonus for fishing and kayaking. We didn't catch many fish but it was relaxing just sitting down on the dock. My Husband and I had a very nice long weekend getaway here. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Lake House!!

Calm Water Cove is a beautiful, cozy lake house! It is nicely decorated and furnished

we had everything we needed. The 3 1/2 bathrooms are very nice! Beds are comfortable! We also enjoyed the outside areas! The house and deck is well maintained! We also tried out the kayaks

Calm water cove it was!!

Adorable home and well stocked for an enjoyable experience! The cove is just as described with an awesome dock which allowed you to find sun or shade any time of the day. There were multiple tables and chairs on the decks in various locations that also were great with the sun/shade. The home was very clean, well maintained,, and beds and bedding very comfy. We had no issues with regulating the air conditioning systems, however the owner’s response from the august review was very helpful. The use of the kayaks, life vests, and beach towels is a great amenity. Kitchen was well stocked and an extra gas bottle was supplied for the grill. The upstairs hall bathroom tub/shower had very reduced water pressure,. Other than that, it was an incredible home and a wonderful experience!
