We are familiar with Rodanthe and the homes in the area. Unfortunately, when we arrived at this house it was not thoroughly cleaned, dust build up, bathrooms looked hardly touched, bath tubs drained slowly and the house smelt like throw up/vomit. We had drove from VA to SC to my Father in laws funeral then to Rodanthe for vacation. So we were ready to get there and get settled to relax.On a positive side, the rooms were nice and spacious and the beach is very close and walking distance. But the pool is small and the hot tub access is a burden as you can only access it through two of the bedroom doors that lead outside to the porch area it sits on. The photo online shows the pool area open and well kept up. It does not look like that at all, there is 3 old lounge chairs worn and dingy which we did not use and tree/shrubs all grown up around the fence and onto the patio area of the pool. We love the Rodanthe area and this location is great but improvements can be made to this property in the future.

Great Location / Needs Better Cleaning Service

The home was the perfect size for our party of 8. The location is perfect - 1 block over from the Pier, with multiple local grocery stores within a few blocks. The home does need some maintenance, as some screens are torn (preventing us from opening those windows which would have been nice!), Blinds broken and disgusting Shower Curtains still hanging,(even though there were previous comments about them) . The biggest issue was that some of the rails on the TOP Balcony are loose - the management company should be checking these on a monthly basis to avoid injuries! Last- who ever they have hired to clean is NOT doing the job - there is food under the couch, under the cushions of the couch, etc. The owner had replaced the broken pool furniture and that was appreciated. Based on how dirty the home was and previous comments regarding this - we would NOT consider renting from this Property Management Company again

Loved the house but could be cleaner

Overall we had a wonderful stay!! The walk to the beach was not bad at all, we have small children so that was very important. Location is really nice and views are beautiful. The house did offer extensive kitchen supplies which was a major plus. The downfall, the cleanliness of the property. The shower had hair left in it and none of the drains in the tubs would drain and one of the tubs had a broken drain. The hot tub cover was not in the best condition which did not inhibit anything from our stay but should proabably be replaced. There were also tons of random gummy bears in the downstairs bedrooms, not a deal breaker but kind of gross at the same time. The pool was also much smaller then we originally thought, again not a deal breaker, and we did enjoy it but just wanted to include for anyone looking at the property. We had 7 kids who enjoyed the small pool daily. Yes I would reccommend this property to others, but I suggest the company look into the few repairs I listed and work on doing a better job cleaning the interior of the home.

Nice stay, close to beach

Overall it was a good stay. 5 minute walk to beach. Nice beach view from top deck. Beds and bathrooms nice and clean. Could use a deep clean, ceiling fans, dining room chairs wiped, kitchen drawers cleaned out. Living room furniture in dire need of replacing. Pool is small but very nice hangout space. Pool and pool area nice and clean. House is as described. Would recommend.

Relaxing!

Fun in the pool. Beautiful beach. Awesome sand dunes. Great local fishing! Book it and enjoy. We took the ferry from South Carolina here, best times adventure good times so much fun! Beyond cool :-)

We had a great time!

We had a great stay! The house was clean but a few crumbs and stuff were left which was shocked to see. Plenty of bedrooms and places to hangout! The hot tub was amazing. The pool was smaller than we thought and it was freezing! Other than that it was a decent walk to the beach ans the weather was great!

A very lovely stay!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. The house and location were fantastic and we enjoyed all the amenities offered including the bike and umbrella delivery! The 2 minute walk to the beach was wonderful. It was necessary to purchase paper goods, towels and blankets due to COVID-19 which we were not prepared for. We would love to return next year! Thank you so very much!
