The flat itself was very nice; however, our experience was disappointing due to the lack of basic amenities. We stayed for one week and were provided with only one bath towel per person. There was a note on the washing machine stating it was not to be used for washing towels. When I asked if it was possible to have an additional towel for the two of us, the host responded that this was not a hotel and that we would be charged for extra towels. In our experience traveling throughout Italy and staying in other Vrbo properties, extra towels are typically provided for a one-week stay. Additionally, there were very limited amenities overall—no paper towels and no basic bathing toiletries. This was the most expensive apartment we stayed in during our trip, and as a Vrbo host myself, I believe providing basic amenities is important for travelers. While the apartment itself was lovely, the lack of these essentials impacted our overall stay.
