Discover the charm of old-world Rome in this elegant apartment located in a historic 18th-century palazzo, right in the heart of Trastevere — one of the city’s most authentic and picturesque neighborhoods. Fully renovated in 2018, the apartment preserves original architectural details like wooden ceilings and terracotta walls while offering all the modern comforts needed for a relaxing and memorable stay.

The apartment is situated on Via della Scala, a quiet and safe pedestrian street just steps away from Rome’s most iconic sites. Within walking distance, you'll find Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori, the Pantheon, the Vatican, and the Tiber River. The area is filled with artisan boutiques, traditional Roman trattorias, and lively cafés, yet the apartment remains peaceful and private — ideal for a restful stay after a day of sightseeing.

With 70 square meters (750 square feet) of space, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to four guests. It features two spacious and thoughtfully decorated bedrooms, both equipped with queen-size beds (160 x 200 cm / 63 x 79 inches) and hypoallergenic mattresses. The first bedroom overlooks the charming street below and includes a sofa, a dining table, and air conditioning. The second bedroom faces a quiet internal courtyard and also has air conditioning for your comfort.

The living area is warm and inviting, with elegant furnishings and a large dining table. Families are welcome — a crib and high chair are provided free of charge. The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, a gas stove, oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, and all necessary cookware and utensils.

The modern bathroom includes a walk-in shower, fresh towels, a hair dryer, and complimentary toiletries such as soap and shampoo. All linens and essentials are provided at no extra cost.

For your entertainment and convenience, the apartment offers free high-speed Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with access to Netflix and Prime Video. Travel guides and maps are available to help you explore the city with ease.

Your safety is our priority. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to the latest guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Italian Health Authorities. You will have exclusive access to the entire apartment — no shared spaces.

The property is well-connected to both Fiumicino Airport and the Port of Civitavecchia. A regional train runs regularly from the airport to Trastevere Station (about 45 minutes), and we are happy to help arrange private shuttle services upon request.

Fun place in the heart of Trastevere

The apartment is a short walk from many attractions and some of Google's highest-rated restaurants in Trastevere are just steps away. That also means it's loud all night long (including seagulls and fighting cats), so bring earplugs. But Rosarip and Angelo are great hosts who arranged to have a driver pick us up from the airport. We had a wonderful stay here!

Cozy apartment in convenient lively location

This cozy apartment in Trastevere is located in the heart of the neighbourhood action. It offers the convenience of walking to many of Rome's main tourist sites. It is on a busy narrow street with popular bars and restaurants. The two bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed; however, the lively atmosphere of the street below is disruptive with its stores (music) and young bar patrons. There is a reason that the neighbourhood is referred to as the "movida". It moves and shakes at all hours of the day. The apartment has a certain old world charm with a pretty decor. The bathroom is adequate but the shower is small and the water does not heat up well. The high wood ceilings offer architectural interest but result in a rather dark interior. The hosts were wonderful. They were incredibly communicative and helpful. Upon our arrival, Rosaria met us at the taxi she had arranged for us from the airport. She showed us around the apartment and was in touch as needed throughout our stay. She arranged transport back to the airport at the end of the week and again met us to see us off. We enjoyed our stay but found the apartment very noisy.

Historical center of Rome

This apartment was perfect for my wife and I for out trip to Rome and Rosaria couldn’t have been more helpful. For starters we arrived early for check in but Rosaria s there waiting and ready for us. Secondly, she arranged a private transport to pick us up at the airport and to take us back after our stay. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. The place also has super easy access to local restaurants and public transportation.

Trastevere!!

Perfect location in a spectacularly busy neighborhood of Rome. Many places to eat and enjoy a Roman experience! The property is near taxis and a bus line and wonderful walking tours of the city! A little noisy but only if you leave windows open and sleep in the room fronting the street! Rosario’s was great about communications and helpful with transit to and from the airports. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location

We throughly enjoyed our stay it was nice to be in an area that is lived in by locals. It is a very vibrant area so if you don’t like noise it’s not for you but you just can’t beat all the little local shops and 300+ restaurants all in all very good value for money and a charming host.

We loved our stay in Trastevere, it is a great location for all the sights. We walked everywhere and the neighborhood had great restaurants and a great vibe. The owner showed us everything, We were able to store our luggage because we arrived early, she arranged transportation to Airport and Train. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location, great apartment!

The place was nice, the hosts were helpful and the location was great. The only issue was noise from the street but thats the location. They had double pane windows which was as good as it gets. This neighborhood is up until 2am! Great accommodation though, would come again and recommend!

Very nice as apartment. We loved the neighborhood. Great restaurants we went to Mass at the church that is very close by. The street is noisy but it happy noise of people experiencing life joyfully walking together laughing and talking. We liked the energy.

The flat as in a great location, but very noisy! Bars were open till 2:45 on some nights- super loud! The light came in thru bedroom window( need black put blinds) closest to the street- just loud! Bed was super comfortable and room temperature was fine. The check in process requires a person, so no late night checking allowed…which was tough for us since our flight as very late.

Loved staying here. We used the driver service that is offered to easily hit the ground running when we got to Rome. Close to nearby shops, tons of delicious restaurants, and a vibrant night life. My friend said the main bedroom could be loud but I heard almost nothing in the second bedroom.

Great location, great hosts, would definitely stay again!

The first thing about this apartment is the great location. It's on a lively street with no cars and lots of shops, restaurants, gelato, etc. The scene is so fun! The kids are out late but I didn't mind the fun happening on the street below. The kitchen is adequate for prepping small easy meals. We had breakfast in the apartment every morning. -- there are a couple grocery stores close by. We stayed there for two weeks and enjoyed everything Rome and Trastevere has to offer!

Trastevere- where to stay!

This property is in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. Good location, fun happening neighborhood with lots of great cafes, bars and outdoor eating all around. Great place for seeing all the sights. We walked everywhere but we like to walk. I do know there is public transportation available but we found everything we wanted to see was easily reachable by foot. Same side of the river as the Vatican. Host was very good to work with and was able to hook us up with a car/ride from the airport. It is on a busy street in Trastevere and I suppose the nightlife could get a little loud but it was perfect for us as we were part of the night life. Highly recommend.
