Dear VRBO Team,
I am writing to provide feedback regarding my recent stay in Rome. Regrettably, the experience was far below expectations. The unit was in poor condition, clearly undergoing maintenance, as evidenced by the materials left in the kitchen. Additionally, the laundry machine was non-functional.
The check-in process was particularly problematic, taking an inordinate amount of time. Communication with the property management was also highly unsatisfactory; text messages went unanswered, and it was only after contacting the VRBO help center that I was able to reach the individuals responsible for handing over the keys.
Given these issues, I cannot recommend staying at this property.
The location and relative spaciousness of this apartment are excellent and the property managers are very helpful. The facilities themselves are good (two kitchens and 3 bathrooms and a great top floor terrace, for example), but some refreshing and repair of various elements (repainting walls, fixing bathroom fixtures) is in order. The parking is also 0.7 miles away (outside the historic district) and the road on which the property is located is a narrow dead end, making driving to/from and stopping close-by for baggage drop-off rather challenging. This requires some explanation from the property managers in order to make this more do-able with less uncertainty and trial and error.
