Domus Claudiae est un appartement de charme mÂČ de la marche de quelques minutes de St Pierre et la CitĂ© du Vatican, vieux Trastevere et le centre historique de Rome 48.
Il est immergé dans un cadre verdoyant et silencieux environnant et a été décoré en particulier par le propriétaire Claudia avec des fresques originales de «ressembler à un roman d'habitation ancienne maison de Pompéi ou Herculanum.
Il comprend une cuisine et salle à manger pour 4 personnes équipées d'appareils électriques (lave-linge, grille-pain, bouilloire etc ...) une salle de bain avec une douche avec des carreaux en noir et blanc du début des années trente, une chambre double et d'un salon spacieux avec un canapé convertibile (lit double) fauteuil et tv satellite mis .Air conditionné est dans chaque chambre et internet wifi.
Vous pourrez vous détendre et profiter d'une atmosphÚre vraiment unique dans Rome.
Lors de votre séjour dans cet appartement, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de marche de Place Saint-Pierre. Laveries.Cet appartement propose une cuisine et une télévision avec chaßnes par satellite.

Nous sommes ravis de notre sĂ©jour. L’apparmement est trĂšs bien situĂ©, calme, clair et spacieux. Il est Ă©galement trĂšs original tant intĂ©rieurement par la deco , qu’exterieurement. C’est presque un miracle Ă  2 pas des immeubles et du trafic de la rue le long du fleuve de trouver ce petit havre de paix ... Le Check-in Ă©tait sans problĂšme malgrĂ© le retard de notre avion , sans problĂšme aussi la voiture rĂ©servĂ©e en mĂȘme temps. Seule remarque pour amĂ©liorer encore le sĂ©jour : des rideaux occultants seraient souhaitables sur les fenĂȘtres de la chambre car le matin c’est trĂšs lumineux... nous recommandons Ă  100% !

Was a cozy rustic place, just couldn't get the heat to work, but it was comfortable. Alot of nice Italian restaurants in the area, and located in the middle of most of rhe attractions.

I couldn’t have been happier with this apartment. The location was perfect, being close to the bus station and train station were super helpful. The AC worked great and despite the warning about hot water, we never ran out and were always able to shower comfortably. Thank you guys so much! We will be back.

Convenient location. Walking distance from Vatican. Bus stops near by to access many sites. Clean apartment with enough amenities for the stay. The AC was nice for afternoons and evenings when we came back from long days out visiting sites.

Great Location

This was a great location for access to Trestevere, the Vatican, and all of the landmarks in Rome center. Entering the premises can be a little difficult if you have heavy bags because the exterior door is located up about 20 stone steps, and the entry does not include a landing area. So you open the door while standing on steps and then enter the building. It can be a little tricky so be careful. The apartment was accurately described in the listing. The apartment is very comfortable including a nice seating area with a sofa and comfortable chair. The view out of the window is very nice if the neighbour's garden is in bloom which it was for us in May. The owner is very responsive and arranged excellent transportation from and to FCO. They also offered tours which we declined. The only real negative is the shower situation. The water heater is very small. Two people can take a very brief shower running the water only to rinse. You then have to wait an hour for additional hot water. We didn't come to Rome for the showers, so we managed. It was not a big deal. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Cutest Place I’ve Ever Stayed

I loved my short time at this apartment and would absolutely rent again if visiting the same area. Easy walking distance to everything Vatican and anything else you need. Very comfortable and plenty of space. Highly recommend

Overall, a good stay. Nice host.

The apartment was comfortable and very pretty.Excellent mattress!The had-painted murals were a great touch.Very ample storage for clothing.....There are two sets of exterior stairs to walk up to the building. We are "seniors"; and my girlfriend packed heavy. Getting the luggage to the apartment was not easy.The surroundings were quiet; but in retrospect I might have chosen something closer to the heart of Trestavere. The walk to the restaurants....was a bit long. We spent a good amount of money on Ubers. Would have preferred to spend more on the rooms.

NO HOT WATER!!!!

This was a beautiful small little apartment in a good location, but there was no hot water for showering, not even warm water, The boiler is electric. It would not fill up or get warm. We had a terrible experience because of this. I would have given this a great review because the art is gorgeous, and the bed was comfy, but having to take cold showers is awful. The host did not respond to help us out either. terrible customer service.

The apartment is in a great location. We booked it because it could sleep more than 2; however, the sofa bed was terrible for sleeping--lumpy and not level. Great for 2 but not more.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and I booked this wonderful room through VRBO and we were so pleased and happy with the room and the owners accommodations. We had a fabulous time. Take you Rome!!! We’ll be back.

Relaxing in Rome

The property was great . . . very central location for both sight-seeing and dining. Updated, nice, clean and spacious accommodations. Communication with Emanuele (property manager) was very easy; he was always responsive providing us valuable information, in particular regarding transit to and from the apartment, including arranging for our transport to the airport for our departure. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Upper Trastavere Perspective

This bright, quiet, creatively decorated apartment provided us with a peaceful stay in Roma. Access to the small travel library was an added plus. I found the quaint Art Deco style bathroom adequate but shower had a step up making it difficult for an mature adult to enter and exit. We loved the location, a convenience store and nice caffe just around the corner. Thank-you Sara for your kindness and cheerfulness during the check-in and with the car hire to the cruise ship port it was much appreciated.

Wonderful space in an ideal location

I spent a week in this location and couldn’t have been more happy. Throughout the booking and arrival process all my questions were answered promptly and they were so helpful and accommodating, even accommodating a small last minute change without problem. On arrival we were given a warm welcome and all information we could need was laid out. The space was really nice and clean and as it looked in the photos. I appreciated having so many amenities such as kettle, washing machine, cloths, crockery etc. The location is really great, I felt very safe and it was nicely central. I was able to get to St Peters within a ten minute walk so I was able to drop in there in the mornings before the crowds got too intense. The Trastevere area is wonderful for restaurants and atmosphere and the location was easy to walk to for the city centre. I’d really recommend this location. Only having one key meant a little bit of coordination with the friend I was staying with, but overall I had a terrific experience with this location.

Nice apartment in perfect location

We very much enjoyed staying at Domus Claudiae, a uniquely decorated apartment with very Roman-like paintings. We easily could explore the whole of the city center and its many features on foot from its perfect location. The owners were always willing to assist with our queries. One caveat, though: accessing the apartment would be difficult for physically impaired guests.
