The location is perfect. The apartment is on a quiet side street and about a 15 minute walk from St. Peterâs, 10-15 minutes to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, near grocery stores and restaurants, and near major bus lines.
The apartment itself fit our needs, but it was tight for our family size (2 adults, 3 teens). The whole thing is three rooms. The front door opens into the main room, which just has a bed and an armoire - no couch, chair, etc. The back room is a large bedroom with two beds, a dresser, and closet. The kitchen is tiny: a small table, a rack with pots and pans, two small gas burners, sink, and a mini-fridge. We ate breakfast and dinner at the apartment most nights and we made it work, but it was tight. The bathroom has a shower (you have to climb five steps to get up to the stall), a toilet, sink, and bidet. Thereâs also a small washing machine in the bathroom that we used a lot. (No dryer, but thereâs a drying rack.) Thereâs also an air conditioner in the back bedroom, which was pretty powerful - strong enough to cool the whole unit.
