It was a real nice apartment with a warm welcome by Diego. Next to the supermarket there is the winebar la salsamenteria di roberto Mangione. I really recommend it (thanks Diego for the tip)

Het was een centraal gelegen appartement. Fijn dat de auto veilig en gratis achter een hek geparkeerd kon worden. We hadden onze fietsen mee en dan is alles op maximaal 20 min afstand te fietsen. Ook de bushalte was op loopafstand. De eigenaar is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook gaf hij goede tips om ons bezoek aan Rome nog mooier te maken.Folders van Rome of van het openbaar vervoer zou handig zijn als dat in het appartement terug te lezen is (tip voor de eigenaar).Het appartement was groot en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Er mag wel wat onderhoud gepleegd worden aan het appartement. De keuken rook muf, omdat 1 keukenkastje volledig aan het rotten was. De wasmachine werkten hierdoor ook niet. Lichtknopjes of stopcontacten die los zaten, wat niet helemaal veilig voelde. Rolgordijn van de badkamer werkte aan 1 kant niet en de jaloezieën waren vies en verbogen om goed te kunnen sluiten. Op het balkon misten we met 4 personen een stoel bij het buitenterras.Wellicht zijn we kritische Nederlanders, want in de stad Rome hebben we vaker gezien dat er minder waarde gehecht wordt aan onderhoud van huizen. Verder hebben we met deze warmte in Rome een airco gemist, de 2 ventilatoren die in het appartement stonden waren fijn maar zou nog beter zijn als er nog 1 bij kon komen zodat elk vertrek een ventilator heeft.
