The room was small but ok for what I wanted for the price. The shared bathroom was the issue it had multiple tiles in the floor missing which I did not notice until stepping on a sharp end. Also the room did offer any isolation from road noise from the highways.

This is a convenient property, close to the T and the Common. You will need to be able to walk up some narrow stairs, and adjust to sharing a common bathroom. I met the owner while he was shoveling snow after the nor'easter, and he could not have been nicer! Great value for the money, fairly quiet and I would stay again.

It was a convenient location with a decent room, however there should be a more detailed description for the overall building since it is more of a hostel environment than apartments. Also I think I should be able to have the tv and the fan on without the entire electrical circuit blowing, that’s all.

perfect localisation for Boston Marathon or Boston sightseeing. There was microwave and toaster in the kitchen annex. There was no kettle though. Close to busy highway but bearable with closed window. There was no late check out option but there is a storage in nearby dry cleaning shop ( booking through Bounce app). Overall would use it again even though it is very basic.

The room was, you could say, terrible. It did not match the photos I saw when I booked it at all. The air conditioner is very noisy, and it’s impossible to adjust the fan — it only works at maximum power. The room definitely needs renovation, and as soon as possible.

The room is nothing like the images you have. Slanting floors, peeling paint. Real poor style living. The only good thing was how close it is to downtown. Talk about communal living. Hole in the bathroom floor etc. this place needs so much work. If I was a millionaire I wouldn’t even buy the building.

I would rate my stay at this hotel excellent, and I am not just saying that. The check in / check out process is done remotely. When I first arrived to the location and no one was there I was worried. I received a text on how to check in and got along fine. The area is within a mile of all the main attractions of Boston but far enough away. The room was simple. The main shopping area of Boston was less than a mile away. This was likely the most affordable place to stay. If nothing were to change about this hotel, I would recommend staying here. Just be prepared for a remote communication delay, if you understand this you will be fine. No pool or gym included in the hotel, but nearby those things are available to the area.

The stairs were crooked, and there were a lot of them. I think the bed was memory foam, but it was soft memory foam, so if you sat on the bed before going to sleep you spent the rest of the night tilting toward the dip. I couldn't figure out the heater/air conditioner really, so this might've been user error, but when I ran the A/C it cooled whatever it was directly hitting but heated up the rest of the room. The area you're supposed to put the trash was too difficult to open, I'm not sure if there was some trick to it, but I couldn't manage it so I just held onto trash until I passed a public trash can. The staff was very good at responding to texts. Location-wise, it's in a pretty good area- it's a short walk to multiple train stations, a small playground, good food & the post office.
