A beautiful gĂźte, a short walk from the harbour, shops and beaches
We had a lovely holiday here at the beginning of July, the accommodation being perfect for our family of five with the three children happily sharing the second bedroom. There is private off road parking and a very pleasant garden (with a washing line!) to compliment the patio area immediately outside the gĂźte. If you like to cook the kitchen is well equipped with modern appliances and the shaded outside eating area is perfect for al fresco dining. There is a very useful and quite sizeable Spar supermarket five minutes walk from the gĂźte and larger supermarkets on the outskirts of FrĂ©jus and St. Maxime. Other small shops; bakers, chemist and bank etc in Les Issambres. Thereâs plenty to do along the Cote dâAzur within short reach of Les Issambres but we loved not needing to drive to go to the beach and made the most of late afternoon/early evening swimming in the sea. The Bateau Vert from Les Issambres to St. Tropez is a great day trip although St Tropez can be very busy, nearby St. Maxime is quieter and lovely. The very amenable proprietor was in residence in the upper appartment some of the time during our stay, no wild parties nearby and a very quiet and well maintained property. Excellent!
