It was a great stay. Super cozy and conveniently located as a quick walk to town. The neighborhood is quiet and off any main streets. The only down side is no on-site parking, but it's really easy to find street parking 0-3 blocks away.
If you like vintage music, as we do, it was perfect decor. Clean, close to shopping and restaurants, well maintained. Within walking distance of the Capitol Theater. My grandparents lived just a short distance away and there's a great Italian bakery. Cassone's, and deli, Longo's Park Deli not too far away. Was very pleased with our stay.
Everything was very nice except for the bathroom which is very old. The steps to the apartment are steep. But that was disclosed. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you need. The apartment is pet friendly which is what we needed.
This property is in a friendly quiet neighborhood but close to restaurants and stores, it was very clean, everything needed including seasoning for cooking and outdoor grill area, I could pack lighter next time as it has shampoo, soap etc.. The decor was cool, I love all music! And I really enjoyed listening to the vinyl records. I would recommend and definitely stay again!
This is a great location and well kept apartment with a lot of attention to details---they provided soap, shampoo, and a lot of other little things that most do not. The communication with the host was great while we were there, but really poor before and after the stay. We needed to alter our travel plans prior to arriving and I had to threaten to cancel the stay to get their attention. Since leaving, I have contacted them about an item we left behind and still have not heard from them. We'll still stay here again in the future, if it is available when we visit, but I encourage them to work on their communication.
The property was part of an older house (2 other rental properties). Bathroom and kitchen were quite dated, but clean and functional. The living room was comfortable and the bedrooms were adequate. As you enter the door you immediately go up stairs to the second floor location of the living space. Not a good set up for little kids.
The location worked well for us as we explored the Rye area. Rye Brook is a working class neighborhood that is well kept and quiet. It runs into Port Chester which has some older commercial areas and a newer mall. It is about 15 minutes from the town of Rye, and Rye town park and Rye Beach.
There is no reserved parking and due to the other rental units on the property, we had to find street parking- which could be found elsewhere on the street or on the next block.
We were in town for a wedding and needed a pet-friendly place to sleep for the weekend. This place had everything we needed. It was clean, beds were comfy, it was in a convenient location, and had a cool vibe! We loved all the music-themed decor. Parking was a little tricky coming home late at night, so bear that in mind. But we were able to figure it out and enjoyed our time!
I can tell owner is in process of updating this property. Outside looks great. Iâm sure he will start on inside soon. That said, it is clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our recent stay. The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The place is tastefully decorated. There are roomy closets too. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located. We'll come back when we are in town.
Really liked the easy access from the interstate and proximity to the Capitol Theater. Really liked the amount of space and cleanliness inside. Liked the residential neighborhood - safe. Was able to park within 1.5 blocks of the location after the show.
We stayed here for our wedding that took place in White Plains. It was 10 min drive away from the wedding venue so it was convenient. We wanted a bigger place to prepare for our wedding so we chose this two bed room condo rather than a hotel room.
It was located in a quiet residential area, nice neighborhood. We were happy to have the spacious accommodation that is clean but only cons are that the place is old so that the floor squeaks every time we walk everywhere. A bed in the master bed room squeaks so I didnât sleep well. Also there is limited parking space (street parking) so if you come back at later time, you will have a hard time find a parking space close to the accommodation.
The property was extremely clean and comfortable. Certainly the BIGGEST TV I've ever seen!! The only downside was parking was on the street (although the nice tenants downstairs let us share the driveway) and the apartment was too HOT. There was no way to control the heat, but to open the windows. I would definitely stay here again, the proximity to the Capital Theatre was perfect!! Only a $10 Uber ride (which were always available).
