Disappointing experience

We stayed for three nights, in two private bamboo huts. The accommodation facilities were good, though the room felt a bit damp especially in the morning; our clothes became quite damp. There is a beautiful bath and lots of hot water. The views are stunning and is a good reason for booking! We were able to easily organise a trekking tour and taxis into town. The food was good, really well presented though we felt pressured to eat and drink constantly as the family kept asking if we wanted more. The family were friendly and polite though it was difficult to keep privacy. There are three super cute dogs who are very friendly though I have to admit I did see them take a poo and wee under the table in the main dining area - they run freely through the resort so avoid if you don’t like dogs. Strangely, as we checked out, the staff presented our bedsheet to us - I had spilt a small amount of coffee. (There is no bedside table, and it’s a traditional cup without a handle so it was tricky to enjoy my morning coffee in bed without a small casualty!) Their personality changed quickly and they were no longer friendly but rude and quite aggressive. They charged me $30 (us)! When I suggested that it would easily wash out, they preceded to bring out a bucket of hot water and asked me to wash it myself... They also made me talk to their manager over the phone who threatened me with the police if I didn’t pay. Overall this is a lovely property but our stay was spoilt by poor customer service
