It was wrong

Yes the room was clean the air conditioner worked good I don't have a car the only and I feel it's the most important thing when I got to the office I was smoking a cigarette so I waited to finish my cigarette when someone passing bye asked if I had an extra cigarette they could have so I gave them one after I finished my cigarette I walked into the office and proceeded to check in that I don't notice that the person I had given the cigarette had come into the office I had only meet him for 10min while I finished smoking , y cigarette to make it short i was in the room for 3hrs and when to get food and when I got back the person that I gave the cigarette too was their and told me the front desk had given him a key to my room I didn't know that till he showed me the key and used it and got into my room Im very mad that they would done that

I’ve stayed at this location over 50 times and loved it. I stayed there the Tuesday and Wednesday. And woke up to cockroaches in my bed and the staff, which I known well in the course of staying there as often as I do, just stare at me and said it’s because of the rain????? They were in my bed!!!!! I could not believe it and have had nothing but good memories and service at the vine inn the davis

Breakfast muffins were so good! I didn't like that you have to request room cleaning in advance. No one answered the phone when we called for service. We needed to physically walk to front desk.

Small inn, big room, perfect location

If you're looking for a nice place to stay right in the middle of a vibrant University town, this is the place. It is conveniently located to UC Davis (a 10 minute walk) and many eateries/tea and coffee/shops right next door. The room was spacious and well appointed. Refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker were also in the room. For its location, it is surprisingly quiet. (There is an Amtrak station several blocks away, so there is some train noise, but not disturbing.) Note that if you take Amtrak, you can walk down to the Inn, as long as you're not carrying an excessive amount of luggage. We will definitely stay here again. The price point was below the other University hotels in the area.

The Vine is an amazing hotel! Simply stated…stay there! It’s clean, comfortable, affordable, and right in the Davis downtown area. It’s my go to when in Davis.
