Internet sucks

Our stay was ok. The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. Two things to note though: the last day the breakfast wasn’t replenished good (no yogurt available, had to ask for plates, coffee creamer was short as were many other things. The most annoying thing though was that the internet was crappy. The connection was not good and sometimes we couldn’t even get on or keep the connection.

The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable, but the lack of lights made it feel dark and clamped in. The air condition unit worked half-heartedly, and in the stairs, elevator and corridors, it was very hot and stuffy. We had only one shower towel for a room with space for 4, and there was no plug for the bathtub. The breakfast buffet was lacking several items and it was not kept clean. The tables and chairs in the eating area were very worn down. There was one single person in charge of managing both the breakfast buffet and the reception, and she was wonderful, but clearly overwhelmed.

Good for 1 night on our trip through Saint John. It was easy access off the highway. Was clean. Property is old but effort made to make it updated & clean. Breakfast was not great.

The property is beginning to look run down. The outside door frame was rotting. The bathroom sink drain could not be opened and the bathroom fan seems to be not taking away any steam. We found the pillows to be lumpy also. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The people we dealt with were excellent. I gave a list of the things we found about the room to the girl at the desk when we checked out and a few minutes later my wife walked in to the lobby and the girl was explaining the problems to a maintenance guy. Maybe no one has told of any problems in that room in the past. You can't have it fixed if you are not aware of the problem. We will stay at this hotel again.

Great stay!!

We loved our stay. We were surprised to be given a room upgrade which was lovely and spacious. The front dest ladies were fun, friendly and most helpful. Due to a breakfast room issue we were given a gift certificate for a nearby breakfast cafe. It had great staff and a terrific menu. The hotel had had a recent face lift which made it all seem like new. Great place!! Hope to stay again.
