It was a beautiful historic building, and perfect size for two adults. Bedroom is big! Murphy bed was comfortable. Location in walking distance to riverfront park and several restaurants was nice. Note that you do have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the loft. Itâs in a busy area of town as well, and there is street noise at night.
We booked this property for itâs proximity to the Ironman Oregon 70.3 venue. The location is less than a block from Riverfront City Park. Once we parked the car in the dedicated, secured parking spot, we hardly moved the car for the next 3 days. Many great dining places are within easy walking distance. The space had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was an unexpected issue upon check-in, but Angela worked tirelessly over the next few hours to get it resolved and communication was great.
I rented this place for my parents, boyfriend and I to stay while my daughter had a basketball tournament in town. The location is pretty central to where we need to be, so that worked out great. Unfortunately the part of downtown the apartment is located isnât the best. The gated parking is a perk in the is case. If lot is full it may be tight to get in. It was free the whole weekend we were there. Itâs also noisy down there, but it didnt really both me.
The issue I had was that the rental was two bedrooms. This was a crucial element in my search. This place has to BEDS, not bedROOMS. This provided for several issues that donât matter much to anyone but my family. I feel a bit bamboozled.
There are also a lot of stairs to get into this place, so be prepared. My mom has hip issues, this would have been nice to know ahead of time.
Angela was nice to work with. Gave us a bunch of tips to and tricks to get into the rental. We still got lost lol
I really appreciated being able to have our dogs with us one night.
Very clean and modernized place, decorated cute.
This place was very quaint, cute, and cozy. It has everything you might need except food items but being downtown it is easy to access a yummy breakfast with a nice cup of coffee. I had a very pleasant stay overall. If you are thinking about staying here I recommend, just keep in mind that Downtown is pretty busy by day and at night you may hear cars zooming by, so if you're a light sleeper this may not be for you, other than that highly recommended!
They say in real estate, location, location, location. Well, in Salem, this is the location. We were near to downtown, maybe in down town, but on a quiet street. We could walk virtually everywhere we wanted to go in Salem. The lodging was comfortable, clean, well laid out, and had a REAL drip coffee maker. Beds were comfortable, and my daughter commented on the shower water pressure. It is great. We spent two nights and it was perfect.
