Hostess, Carmen, is excellent. Breakfast was phenomenal. Rooms were big, especially the master BR (We had the 2 BR unit). You walk up 1 long flight of stairs, there is no elevator. The B&B is located at the edge of the historic town. Only a 10-min walk to the cathedral (which is a must-see). Parking nearby was a challenge, but you can park closer to the port & walk 10-ish minutes. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAPS to this property if you have a car. It takes you down narrow, historical streets that are extremely difficult to navigate. I would happily stay here again, especially now knowing the parking situation. Carmen is wonderful.

At the very last minute we had to find accomodations for one night in Salerno. We were lucky enough to find Home 47 and the wonderful host. Gracious and welcoming. We were able to stash our bags for several hours after we had checked out. the best part however was the fantastic homemade breakfast! Thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay here. It’s located in the old part of town. Carmen was a wonderful host and made us delicious breakfast in the morning. It was very comfortable and a good location. We really enjoyed our walks on the boardwalk by the water. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible authentic and convenient stay! The breakfast was wonderful each morning, and we could really feel the love and care that Carmen puts into this B&B. We honestly loved exploring Salerno more than Amalfi and Positano, which we did on a day trip easily from the port that is just an 11 minute walk away. So many amazing restaurants nearby. It got loud Friday night because of live music playing outside, but Carmen prepared us for this with a note and complimentary ear plugs for sleeping. We fell right asleep after a full day. Highly recommend!

We just completed three lovely days in Salerno at Home47. Carmen was a wonderful hostess, friendly and helpful in every way. Convenient location with easy walk to the water and…we even walked to Vitre. Great restaurants abound. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Highly recommend

Carmen was the perfect host. Her communication was exceptional and the breakfast she provided was just delightful. The room is spacious and the location of the B&B is within walking distance of so many shops & restaurants in the old city. We enjoyed our stay very much especially the jazz music during breakfast!

A lovely bed and breakfast just over a mile from the train station and port. Many restaurants to choose from and a very nice park across the street. Our room was large and comfortable with a lovely breakfast.

About a nice 10 minute walk from the ferry. Pretty easy to find. Carmen communicated via WhatsApp about the property and was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful and the room was large and comfortable. The shower was very tiny but it was ok for us. Overall we will stay here again if we come to Salerno.
