The house is very well-located for downtown Salida and the river. It was clean and easy to heat, with many sitting areas and a front porch with mountain view plus a private back yard. The kitchen was well-equipped and the main bedroom has plenty of storage and a good/new mattress.
There were a few problems. The washer and dryer were unaccountably unavailable (a note in the washer stated that they were 'for use by cleaners only', although the 'leaving instructions' asked people to run a load of towels before leaving, and they are pictured in the brochure), and we found the front door locks to be difficult to use, especially with arthritis.
But otherwise, well-equipped and comfortable, and a few blocks from everywhere.
