I read âThe Chronicles of Narniaâ when I a kid and my imagination always wondered what it would be like to be swept into a majestic world. When the GPS turned us off the main road, that was apparently the gateway. We were all in awe as there were 40-50 deer politely eating in neighboring yards as well as peacocks meandering down the street. It didnât even seem like we were in San Antonio anymoreâŠitâs like we entered a serene country getaway. The house is nestled on a corner between 2 dead ends which made it even more peaceful and there was plenty of parking if you have multiple vehicles arriving like we did. The house has a beautifully designed and updated interior with more space and sleeping accommodations than described (another treat). We had 3 families (6adults 4kids) and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The bathrooms all had beautifully tiled showers, the laundry room had an updated washer/dryer, and the kitchen had everything needed for a chef to come in and cook for us (we did this one night). Communication with the owner was pleasant with quick responses. We even had a nice conversation with the neighbors and they offered us suggestions on restaurants and things to see. Beds were super comfy and overall the house was so cozy that you donât want to leave. The house was central to a lot of things, being within a 20 minute drive of SeaWorld/Aquatica, Joint Base SA, The Rim, and Riverwalk. I wouldnât hesitate a return visit!
