We had a wonderful stay while in town for our son’s Air Force Boot Camp graduation. The location was perfect and so convenient to the Air Force Base, which made everything much easier for our family.The home was very clean, the games were a fun touch, and the communication with the host was excellent from beginning to end. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

Quiet neighborhood and ideal location for attending our son’s BMT graduation. The house itself needs a deep clean and the kitchen had limited supplies for cooking for a group. This place was okay, but with a few upgrades it would be a fantastic stay.

Home Away From Homw!!

Our stay at this home was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and right at home. The host has thought of everything—every detail was perfect, and the space was immaculate. My kids and I were blown away by how cozy and comfortable it felt.The jacuzzi was a fantastic bonus, and we made sure to follow all the instructions, turning it off, covering it, and locking everything up securely. We even took the trash out to keep the place as tidy as we found it.What truly made this stay unforgettable was the thoughtfulness of the host. It’s rare to find a place that feels so much like your own home while you’re away. We created so many wonderful memories here, and we’re already planning our next trip back!If you’re looking for a perfect home away from home in San Antonio, look no further. We had a lovely time staying here! We had a group of 10 friends getting together for just the night, and the rooms and game area were perfect for us. Had a bit of a late start in the morning so we checked out right at the time, but the cleaning crew was really understanding of us wanting to wash our dishes haha. Would definitely stay in a place Daniel is hosting again!

Close to Lackland, clean and safe

Overall, the property is nice and clean. The owner works hard to have good communication. The grill needs cleaned, but I would guess it always needs cleaned because guests are not going to do it after grilling. Take charcoal and lighter (if needed). The blinds covering the back door need replaced (tattered and missing slats). The bar lock on the rear sliding door is broken. It is still functional. Good stay.

The pictures are not accurate

The pictures were deceiving. My biggest complaint was the cleanliness and the hot tub. We own a pool and hot tub and could not get it to heat. Daniel was very good at communicating with us but we were told they could send somebody out the next day. We figured it out on our own and there was a block of chlorine in the hot tub, no wonder our eyes burnt. As far as cleanliness, one bed we couldn’t sleep on, it was as if a cat peed on it from the smell. The master bedroom headboard is material and it appeared to have hair all over it. It looked like pubic or chest hairs. The kitchen molding was coming off and the ceiling repair was terrible. There was no dish soap to wash dishes. I would recommend the rental not be hundreds and hundreds of dollars for two nights. I couldn’t fathom charging people this rate for less than par conditions. That included a cleaning fee. The whole inside of the home needs to wiped down with disinfectant and a real commercial cleaning company needs to be used. I don’t take this review lightly as I’ve never given a bad review on VRBO or other accommodations. You know it’s bad when your 19 year old son says the home is dirty.

Property in disrepair and not clean

First the main door lock was broken and the maintenance worker tried to fix it but the key was missing. He told me the past tenant’s had the key. I stated that was unacceptable and reached out to the host and only after complaining did they change the lock. I wish I could up load photos of the numerous doors and cabinetry that was off their hinges and the dirty areas of the house including some sort of facies on the guest book. Only one bathroom door in the entire house would close. The house was extremely dirty, I asked for a refund for the first night and the cleaning deposit and the host contact stated he would get with the owner and get back to me, but never did. This place is like a run down motel, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this listing. They also thought it was Ok to stay there with a broken lock and a missing key. I asked VRBO to assist and I was told I had to stay. I wished VRBO reviews would allow photo uploads but they do not.

Close to SeaWorld

We enjoyed our stay and how close it was to SeaWorld and the city for all our site seeing. The grass however was not maintained and there was as trash scattered throughout the yard which was disappointing as we were traveling with two small dogs. The first night we arrived my son was trying to play the PAC Man game and the A (red) button was not working. I reached out to the rental contact but didn’t hear back til next day and we had already figured it out. The button sticks a little when starting the game up. After a few tries we got it working. Per the rental information book someone comes to look after the yard one day and hot tub another, we never saw anyone come by. House was equipped with nice supplies for cooking and inside was clean. I would suggest a cover for the outdoor furniture as the cushions had a faint cat urine smell and there seemed to be a few outside cats around the neighborhood.

Amazing stay in San Antonio

5 stars; This Vrbo looks exactly like the pictures! Daniel was timely on responding to my questions and also accommodated a special request. My family friends and I (3 adults, 3 children (ages 3-9) and 1 infant stayed comfortably on location for one night while passing through Texas. The house was a great place to entertain and then unwind and relax after traveling. Check in was simple with no hassle, the fenced in backyard was a plus and the hot tub was the perfect temperature upon arrival. We had plenty of towels, the kitchen was stocked with the necessary ware to prepare basic meals, the house was cleanly and organized, we easily and securely connected our Netflix account on the smart TV and the a/c worked perfect. There was even a portable crib if needed in one of the closets. I would recommend Daniels property to anyone passing through San Antonio or living there either to entertain or to relax. We were a short drive from popular restaurants and spent the following day after check out at the Riverwalk. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Amazing house Close to Lockland AFB

We stayed for 2 nights for our sons Air Force graduation and this was perfect! It was 5.3 miles from the Valley High gate. So PERFECT location! The house itself was amazing. The pool table kept us busy when it was just to cold to out out and use the hot tub. The night we used the hot tub it was absolutely perfect. Beds were so comphy and as it turn out it was super cold outside. We stayed nice and toasty. Close to shopping food and everything you would need. Quiet neighborhood. Over all a great location and perfect answer to our needs.

Comfortable and clean

We enjoyed our stay in this home! It was clean with a great layout. The neighborhood is a quiet, safe family area and very convenient to everything. Very easy to check in and the owner was accessible and helpful...even pointing us to a fantastic Texas BBQ spot. The hot tub was nice on cool evenings and the small fenced in back yard was great for the kids to safely play. A few things to note, though it should NOT stop anyone from renting this home! If you have children there are NO games or toys available other than a pool table and an arcade game. Not even adult games or cards. If we had known that we would have packed more to do in the evenings. There is some wear and tear from use, but nothing horrible in any way. Overall a very nice place to stay! Thank you for helping us have a wonderful vacation in San Antonio!

Lovely Home

This home was lovely, exactly as described. Super clean...and the hot tub was warm and ready to use when we arrived. The game room kept us entertained when we were there and it was within 30 minutes of most activities. Host communicated with us throughout the stay.

Lovely home. Great location.

Check in was easy. The owner answered all questions promptly. Home was clean and well taken care of. The location to Seaworld was a quick 10 minute ride.
