This hotel is actually a motel and it has been remodeled pretty well. However, it is fairly overpriced for the area and although it has a nice restaurant and bar, you better go early since the latest they are open is 9:00pm and they want you out at that time. We arrived at 8:45 and were told the bar was closed by the female bar tender. The restaurant was willing to serve us but the bar tender refused and was quite rude. We traveled in to volunteer for an organization in the area and we will not come and stay here again on future trips. Danny who is a waiter in the restaurant was unbelievably kind and accommodating. He made extra efforts which we so appreciated and he tried so hard to make up for the rude bartenders behavior. Thanks Danny!

Check in was pleasant, room was clean and well appointed, with comfortable beds. Did not hear one sound, but there was no one above us or on either side, so...All of the staff we had contact with was friendly. Wished we would have seen the Barrel Room before we went to town to eat and have drinks--it looked very inviting. Next time?
