The hotel has been recently renovated and for the most part is clean, quiet and good for a family getaway, especially for those going to nearby SeaWorld. Where the hotel has room for improvement is in the cleanliness of the entertainment area, behind the lobby. During our visit we noticed overflowing garbage cans, a lot of the brush around the trees has tangled garbage. This gives the impression thay maintenance staff is not very proactive ensuring the area is clean. This lack of maintenance detracts from the image -and the value - of the property.

TV didn’t work, called multiple times to have someone fix it, no one ever came. Towels everywhere on the ground at the pool. Umbrella went flying everywhere while sitting at a table. Bathtub enamel flaking and rust stains in tub. Food was terrible, burnt fries, half hearted flatbread pizza that looked like a 2nd grader put it together, while charging absolute premium for it. No air conditioning in hallways or elevator.

Loved it!

My family (2 adults, 3 year old and 7 week old) had a great time here and highly recommend. Property was clean and had a bunch of family friendly activities. Location was great (5 minutes from sea world and 20 from the river walk), property was clean and the staff was awesome (shoutout to Michael). The cons: 1.) food was overprice ($17 + tip for one waffle!) so be sure to bring your own snacks and/or go out to eat 2.) cable - directv is total trash. Asked about it and was told the property knew it was an issue and was working to resolve it (luckily, we have iPads and the internet was good). Overall, highly recommend and will be back.

I will say the overall stay was ok. The hospitality staff really needs to do a better turnover when assessing room 538. The shower was all clogged up and drained very slow. It made it an awful experience for taking a shower. The toilet barely flushed. Also, the cable sucked and kept cutting out when trying to watch anything on TV for the whole two days we were there. I like Hilton hotels, but this was not a good experience at all. I think a better-quality control needs to happen on each room after each guest stay. Min seemed like a rush job. Recommend the staff take a really good look at room 538.

We first arrived, it seemed to look good but by the time we got to our room, tv’s were flickering, turning on in the middle of the night. We let the front desk know about it and said they will send somebody. After hours and hours of waiting, no one came went again down to the front desk and to let them know again and they said they’ve contacted their cable provider and wouldn’t be able to do nothing tonight. So instead of watching my nba playoff games, it was a quiet and early night. Next day we checked out and told the front day of how inconvenient our stay was there all they said they could do is waive the parking charge. We will definitely not be back to this property. We spend our hard earn work money to stay that we supposed to be a high end place and it was a disaster. We even found to be boogers in our bed sheets, luckily we bring out own bed sheets and pillow cases to every hotel we stay at.
