We absolutely adore staying at the Oasis. Did 12 days this time. It has become my home aeay from home when I visit my family in San Antonio. The hottub and Cowboy pool are our fav and i love cooking in the wonderful kitchen. Beds are comfy. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent location. We find our peace and fun hdre and plan on staying again.
It was an amazing experience! The check in/check out was super simple! Host was super amazing and attentive when messaged. It was everything the description described!
This house was perfect. Exactly how the pictures were. Definitely will stay here when I come back to San Antonio. My kids love this house. This house had everything that we need for our stay.
We had a great time at this property. We were just a few minutes from everything we wanted to see in San Antonio. Everything was spotless and very well decorated. We enjoyed the karaoke and the TVs when we were settling down. The cowboy pool and hot tub were a great addition. Just the small amountbof activity we wanted after touring all day. The host was very helpful and friendly. Overall, a very nice stay.
My stay was absolutely amazing it was beyond what Iâve ever experienced our host was so kind and respectful she answered every question I asked within minutes and made the necessary accommodations the place is STUNNING omg the pictures donât do it justice I definitely recommend 10/10
I really loved this house. We packed so many things that we didnât end up needing. She thought of everything! The neighborâs dog barked at us loudly every time we stepped foot outside đ. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.
Even though our stay was very brief, it was great! My oldest son and I were in San Antonio for the State UIL Marching Band contest at the Alamodome that my youngest son was participating in.
The property was wonderfully close to the Alamodome which saved us a TON in parking fees that I wouldâve had to pay for a hotel on the Riverwalk! It was exactly as it was described online and the Host, Ms. Heckman, was phenomenal with communication! She was so accommodating to me and our wonky time frames since we were at the mercy of the band schedules. I donât know if we will make it next year, but if we do, I sure hope to stay here again!
Me and a group of friends stayed here for the final 4 game and we could not be more happy with our experience. The location worked great as we were a 20 minute walk from the Alamodome. Although I do recommend ubering home when it is dark, it is still such a short drive where it did not matter in the slightest. The home was beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The host was extremely helpful and responded almost immediately whenever we needed something. One thing that I noticed was that the bedding was extremely comfortable, much better than any hotel Iâve stayed in. The cowboy pool was a great time with my friends in that Texas heat. I think that overall this place is a no-brainer if you want to stay near the stadium and other attractions. The river walk is a short uber away as well (or walk for us young guys).
We are owners of VRBO property elsewhere so we completely understand the challenge of maintaining great properties.
Property is in transitional neighborhood. The neighbors are quiet and ultimately safe. Fairly close to in town attractions.
Good: Cowboy pool was cute and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Living room was decorated nicely. Beds were adequate. Furniture was adequate. Didnât use exercise equipment or hot tub.
Bad: Absolutely inadequate HVAC - took many hours with central hvac and two separate room units to get the house below 78 degrees. There was black mold on the vents of the two separate hvac units! Oh, and the fire ants! Every crack in the tile or junction with worn out carpets were welcome highways for Texas fire-ants. My daughter and wife were both stung, even after applying copious Ant Spray supplied by host. The house floor slopes and the outside is in serious need of renovations/repairs. We didnât approach the fire pit in the back yard as it was set in grass andâŠfire ants. Shower head leaked all over the floor in main hall bath.
The house was poorly painted on the inside and wallpaper is pealing in several places.
Iâm guessing the house needs $60K of remediation to solve the hvac, foundation and other problems, nevermind the inside aesthetics.
I am amazed that people slap lipstick on a pig and think itâs going to cover up fundamental issues.
We would not return to this property.
