Close to everything. Walkable. Just wasn't a fan of the clear bathroom door. If you stay with others that are not your partner sucks because you can see your nake silhouette through to the open concept of the room. So we would keep the light off to take a shower as an understanding to keep privacy.

My wife and I had a great 3-night stay while visiting San Antonio for a weekend getaway. It was a very convenient location to walk to everything we wanted to do downtown while also being s short ride away from a few other spots we wanted to visit as well as the airport. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff we interacted with at the front desk were friendly. We appreciated housekeeping refreshing our room daily.

The distance to the Alamo, and therefore most of the main area of San Antonio, is hard to beat. My two gripes about this hotel are very simple. The first is the construction going on by the Alamo which complicated travel in that direction and will be going until 2027/2028, but it's not forever. Second, the age of the hotel showed with the elevators. Only two for the whole building to use and one went out of service.

The beds were somewhat stiff, the plugs on all the lamps were so old some of our charger plugs and accessories would not work. Very lose plugs all around.

No problems with the property. The only issue i had, especially due to the cost, the room was not ready when we arrived and had to wait till 6:40pm before the room was ready. When we arrived the front desk had to radio staff to see if it was ready. If we had a reservation and they knew the room was booked, why did we have to wait??

Amazing viewpoint of the Alamo and San Antonio. Close to the riverwalk and tons of dining. Valet price is reasonable compared to parking options nearby. Enjoyed our stay and would stay at again!

Everything went well but I have several extra charges on my credit card that I did not approve. I petitioned my credit card to return the funds and they came back saying the charges are legit - even after I proved that I paid the incidentals with a different card.
