The house was smaller than what we expected, however it was clean and nicely decorated. There is one tv in master room (seating is the bed). The bed was not very comfortable. We were a little surprised that there is no kitchen (just mini fridge/microwave oven) and no living room. The kitchen did have supplies like a Keurig coffee maker, utensils , plates, cups, etc.. An oversight that we missed in the description of the property.The outdoor space was the main place we spent most of our time. Cooked breakfast on the large griddle outdoors. Large tree covered yard and Hot tub was inviting, however only one side of jets worked. Sauna was very pleasant, and we were supplied with robes to use. Overall it was a nice weekend get away for a couple.

The hot tub and the sauna were amazing !! I enjoyed the 2 seperate bedrooms. Nice big bathrooms with plenty of towels. AC was perfect. Location was perfect. I appreciated the host , she communicated with me and answered my questions. The backyard was pretty. All in all this place was a 10 out of 10. I would recommend this ARBNB 100%. It's clean and beds are comfortable.

Check in was a breeze. The house was very clean upon arrival and was stocked with a few small snacks/drinks and coffee. Has all your basic necessities to include things like silverware/cutting board and some cookware. Everything was very organized and well taken care of. This is a guest house that is right behind the owners main house. The back patio was nice to sit and drink coffee in the morning. It’s a nice little piece of property but there are neighbors on both sides. None of this was a deal breaker by any means but the “charming and romantic” aspect was watered down by watching the neighbor kids jump on their trampoline lol. Again, not a big deal; just not what I expected when I read “romantic retreat under the oaks”. Overall it was a great little stay. Well worth the money.

Loved the sauna and hot tub, all of the outdoor furniture was great and comfortable. The tv dinner tables are a smart addition. There were lots of snacks and extra things in the kitchen area that were a nice touch. Beds were very comfortable and I greatly appreciate the blackout curtains.

The hot tub was amazing, and so was the view of the backyard! We had expected it to be a full property with a kitchen, but that’s definitely on me for not looking through the description better. The TVs were great, and the AC was awesome! I’d definitely recommend this rental!

This sweet hideaway was exactly what I needed. Close to the places I wanted to visit, yet hidden away under the shady oaks. I loved having coffee on the deck every morning, (in the hot tub!) listening to birds (grackle and house sparrows) and watching the antics of the squirrels. Bonus: a new public library just around the corner! The guest house is comfortable, super clean, and extremely well stocked. My favorite Starbucks coffee for the Keurig, snacks, robes- not a detail was left out. I hope to become a regular guest during my visits to San Antonio.

Great stay! The guest room was very clean and thoughtfully stocked with extras to make guests feel welcome—coffee maker, snacks, drinks, and fresh, clean towels. The hot tub was fantastic, with complete privacy. I would definitely recommend this place!

Wonderful Getway to visit my Son

I took a much needed break to fly out to visit my son. The place was Perfect!! Small but cozy and comfortable. I was close to visit with him and close enough to downtown to sightsee. The outdoor area was so inviting. Well kept, quiet, and private. The hot tub was a nice perk. The owners were more than accommodating and even got me a small cooler with ice so I could cool down some drinks quickly. I plan on going again after the New Year and I hope the property is available. I would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay and would absolutely return if we're ever back in the area. While there isn't an oven or a traditional living room, we were aware of that going in—and the hosts truly thought of everything to make up for it. There were comfortable sitting areas both inside and out, plus great extras like a grill, crock pots, and more. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were responsive and helpful without being intrusive. Wonderful experience overall!

Clean and comfortable

First and foremost, this place is clean! You can tell that the host prides themselves with the cleaniness. The AC is adjustable and can be quickly set for comfort. There are amenities, such as, fridge, microwave, TV, sauna and hot tub. The host was on point with their communications through Vrbo messages and made sure the stay was enjoyable. I wouldn't hesitate booking at this property again.

Quick getaway

This is a perfect choice if you're trying to get out and relax away from all the noise and all the hustle and bustle of life today. They have a beautiful sauna and a hot tub that we enjoyed every day of our stay. The host is awesome. They have great communication and try to help as much as they can to make your stay pleasant. When we arrived they had a little table in the bedroom with snacks and a sweet note. This is honestly the cutest guest house rented thus far. We highly recommend you will not regret it! We would definitely stay again.

Great setup for my son and me

My adult son and I needed a place to stay while in San Antonio for the Final Four. This retreat certainly met our needs. While there is no common area inside the home, we enjoyed having separate bedrooms. The sauna and hot tub were nice bonuses for us. The place was quiet, peaceful, and felt very safe. We loved our stay.
