Wonderful hotel by the harbor

Fortunate to find this hotel during our family trip to San Diego. Great location, wonderful dining options, great view from most rooms, and convenient parking. Highly recommended!

We try not to stay at this resort. However, it was all I could get. I always get upgrades and perks at Best Western but they club charges for everything very few amenities if any absolutely no perks and very noisy room.

Great area on the bay

Nice hotel with great views from balcony looking at marina. Room is large. Service by all staff is excellent! Would book again! Aron and Joshua at front desk are great at thier jobs. Bar staff is excellent. House keeping is good.

As part of my monthly business travel to San Diego, I've stayed at this hotel three or four times previously. My past experiences, particularly during a period of construction, were excellent, with comfortable accommodations and great customer service. I attributed this to potentially lower occupancy during that time. However, my most recent stay was unfortunately subpar. Upon arriving at 2 PM, I was surprised to be charged a $50 early check-in fee, something I've never encountered during my previous stays, despite typically arriving between 1 PM and 3 PM. My room also had several issues: a noticeable orange stain on the sheets, a malfunctioning toilet, and a faulty air conditioner. I promptly brought these concerns to the staff's attention. While they did move me to a different room (not an upgrade) and waive the early check-in fee, I didn't feel this fully addressed the extent of the problems. Overall, I was thoroughly displeased with this stay and hope to see significant improvements in the future.

My stay at Bay club hotel and marina was amazing it was the perfect place for me and my family great accommodation when needed bar and grill was a hit with a great menu for breakfast lunch and dinner also good happy hour menu and the pool was also a hit for my kids the room 116 was also a great with a big balcony and beautiful view overall 10/10

Loved this hotel on the marina! We had a room facing the water, and it was so peaceful — such a nice view to wake up to. The location is amazing, everything was clean, and the on-site restaurant was super convenient. The only downside was the early check-in fee. Standard check-in was at 4pm, but we were told our room was ready at 1pm — for an extra $25. Of course, we paid it since we were eager to settle in, and $25 isn’t a huge deal. Still, it would’ve been a thoughtful gesture to offer early check-in as a courtesy, especially when the room is already available. It would leave a lasting impression and make guests feel truly welcomed. Other than that, it was a beautiful, well-maintained hotel. I’d definitely stay again!
