It was my first time in a hostal, and wasn't sure how it would go, so at forst, I had only booked one night, but I ended staying 4 days. The place was very clean. Everything in general was great! I would definitely go back.

I've stayed at this hostel twice now and have had a wonderful experience each time. The room is really cute (I've booked the private room) and the staff are friendly. The hostel is in a convenient location - if you're driving, there is free street parking in the area. I absolutely will plan to visit again next time I'm in SD.

Welcoming Place

It was comfortable and welcoming. The evening activity was karaoke and had a really welcoming and encouraging vibe. I enjoyed talking with the other guests from around the world. This hostel was mellow and I got a great night sleep. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach! One downside is that you can’t park overnight in the Belmont lot across the street. I didn’t notice the signs and paid a hefty towing fee. My own fault.

Words can't describe the experience I had at this hostel. Reuben was an awesome host, along with everyone else. Very accommodating and always there to help. The location is the best, walking distance to everything, but also convenient location for transportation. Parking is easy as well if you have a car. I loved the activities the hostel provides for free every day. Not to mention, the amenities you receive like breakfast in the morning & some nights were they cook for guests. I never felt unsafe or bothered at all by other guests. Comfortable beds & enough privacy & security. I loved that it's a small hostel so it never feels too crowded. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely consider coming back in the future.

I’ve stayed at ITH Mission Beach a few times and every time I enjoy my stay. They offer many activities to do, the staff is very friendly and you can’t beat the location. One of the better hostels in San Diego. I highly recommend .
