Excellent communication and well appointed kitchen. Beautiful outside deck view of ocean and area. Bedrooms were very comfortable and child pack n play was helpful. Nice that beach equipment was also available for use. Market stores within walking distance.

Great location

This house is in a great location, next to the beach and Belmont Park. We enjoyed watching the surfers, walking the boardwalk, and eating at the local restaurants. It's also a quick drive to seaworld, the zoo, and downtown.

Great location and overall great stay!

First, the location was great! The beach is right there, walk to restaurants and cafes, awesome! The house came with plenty of beach towels and there were beach chairs in the garage for us to use, which we did and it made our beach time even better. It was easy to check in and out and the house was well appointed and stocked. We loved the top floor deck and how open the top floor was in general. Plenty of towels and a good supply of hot water for the party of 10 we were with. Be aware that it really doesn’t have garage space for 2 cars. One fit well, but my daughter’s compact car would not fit due to the water heater being on that side. The trash bins were also in the garage and they were full of trash (not ours) so it was quite smelly every time we went to the garage. Also, the house was clean, but has some wear and tear, mainly due to the location and the impact of the salt air. The master bath windows did not open nor did one of the windows in the tv room. Not a big deal, but made the house a little warmer. Overall a good house for an extended family get together.

Great location and Privacy

Property is on the 2nd and 3rd floors, townhouse style. Main floor is on the 3rd with the fabulous beach views and easy access to Belmont and Mission bay across the street. This spot is the perfect mesh of cool ocean breezes and still having privacy. Parking our two vehicles was without great hassle. Our family of 8 walked every where for activities. Groceries were easily delivered to the address. Plenty of dishes, cleaning supplies, and kitchen essentials (salt, pepper, foil, even coffee!) They even had two play&packs. The property manager Brough baby gates to keep our toddler safe. There are plenty of towels and toddler play toys for the beach. This place is definitely on our do-over list!

I highly recommend this property

This was the perfect place to stay! I went here with my 14 year old daughter and 2 of her friends. It was perfect as we were steps away from the ocean. Belmont park was right next door. I could walk for miles and miles and people watch all day! The condo was extremely clean and perfectly comfortable and I felt safe the entire time. I will stay here again in a heartbeat!

Little Things

We have stayed in other Vrbo listing in the past. It's the little things that cause concern. Light switches, lazy sink drains and very dirty carpet. Sand in the bed and in the washing machine. Exit door to garage would not work for us for some reason. Other than that ....... Thank you!

Overall the state was nice. I had little issue with getting into the home. Must have been something to do with the app. I had to call the host a couple of times to get in. The houses very nice. The only thing is that we were shoving 8 people into a 9 by 12 room.Don't get me wrong, the beds were nice, however we had a stick a bunch of adults and kids in the one room. Otherwise the location is spot on. We had a good time.

Great accommodations for a family trip

We travelled with our kids and my parents, and the house was big enough to accommodate us all. The property was clean and right on the beach. When we arrived, the property manager checked in to make sure everything was as expected, and she even brought a beach umbrella upon request! Plenty of chairs and a cooler to roll out. Overall, great house and great location.

WONDERFUL VACATION STAY!!!

From the moment we booked Julie & Hank were “within reach”. Their messages told us what to expect once we arrived & places to visit during our stay. If we needed anything their response time was great. They thought of everything that we would need in the beach house and more. We had a 10 month old granddaughter with us & the house even had a high chair, playpen & baby gate which came in handy. Definitely will be returning! Thank you Hank & Julie!

Excellent Mission Beach Vacation Loation

Awesome property!!! A half-block to the sand. Across the street from a grass park. Fantastic balcony space with a grill that overlooks both the beach and the park. This property is very clean, spacious, and open with tons of natural light. The upper floor is the living space with the floor right below containing extra bedrooms. My group of 6 college friends loved both the property and the immediate Mission Beach area. We would be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful beach property!

When you book vacation beach rentals, the condition of the property and furnishings, as well as the access, can be different than advertised. This rental is in excellent condition with new furniture and updates throughout. The hosts were extremely friendly and responsive. The location can’t be beat! We had a wonderful stay and would book again in the future.

16th Birthday getaway

We took our daughter and her friends to this lovely rental for a special getaway for her Sweet Sixteen. It was a great location, beautiful beach, fire pits and lots of volleyball courts just steps away. We walked down the boardwalk for outdoor dinner one night and went to the Gaslamp the next and ordered pizza (walking distance for pick up) for the third. The rental unit is clean and well decorated, with a fantastic deck to watch sunset. The girls had the whole downstairs which slept all ten in beds. The bunk room was a fun and slept 8 and their is a queen bedroom next to bunk room.. We had the well appointed master upstairs and didn’t have to hear their late night chatter, since they had their own floor. It worked great for us and would work well for two families, putting all the kids in the bunk room. Loved that it supplied beach chairs and boogie boards. I would say this is definitely one of the better rentals we have stayed. My only negative that I would mention is the garage did not fit our two cars, seems like a one car garage, but we found street parking quite easily for our second car. Perhaps two small cars (mini, Prius types) would fit in there. All in all, it’s a great rental and we would definitely rent again. Thank you Hank & Julie

I have stayed in San Diego many times. This place by far was the best in all aspects. I have stayed in places where finding an ice cube was challenging. This place had everything for convenience. Coffee .ice towels. A place to plug in my phone that was actually next to the bed. There was soap for the dishes and laundry. Paper towels. This place was clean and set up for convenience. Beach stuff. Kids toys . Towels boogie boards. The location was A+. The actual space was perfect. If you have a family this is the place. There is a garage that fit my yukon gmc in. I would get this place again.
