Absolutely loved this property! It was so unique and pretty. The poolside rooms have little patios off them with chairs in case you just want to enjoy the view. The drinks at the bar are delicious. Definitely will be back!

The details put into the lobby, the bars and restaurants and the pool area are absolutely gorgeous. The food and cocktails were also great across the board. I would say there were tiny things about our room however where you could tell this was not so long ago just your average motel, now with glitzier tile. For one, our toilet didn’t work the entire time and we had to use the lobby bathroom whenever we needed to go. We did let the concierge know and they assured us maintenance would come by to fix it but all they eventually did was “reset it” meaning it was basically good for one flush. Fortunately our stay was only for one night but I imagine whomever checked into our room after ran into the same problem. You can definitely see the efforts put into making the place Instagram worthy from every angle, I just think a bit more attention could have gone into practical functional upgrades of the hotel itself rather than purely cosmetic ones.

My sister and I loved this place! The vibes are immaculate. The only suggestion I have is to add another trash can in the rooms. There’s only one in the restroom and another would be useful. The servers around the pool are awesome and I love the text concierge.

Great girls trip

Great stay! Perfect for a girls trip. Literally did not need to leave the hotel- fun pool, great bar, absolutely amazing food. Only thing to note is that it is an older building so the rooms are not sound proof- I was in a standard king and it was very loud, even with earplugs and a sleeping pill I had a hard time sleeping. Also, pool gets super crowded! But will definitely be back!

Beauty but also a beast

The Lafayette’s style and amenities are exceptional; beautifully designed lobby, pool, and rooms. However, do not expect a lick of service as a hotel guest. There is no one other than a texting service to assist. No one to help with luggage, a problem in the room (our TV did not work-the text response was that there wasn’t any maintenance person on staff), or if you have a question about your bill (I was overcharged). Additionally, the pool party with its bumping music is from 10am until 9pm and it is very loud. If you are a party person, that likely is not an issue for you. If you hope to rest a bit around 4pm before dinner in your room? I don’t think so. And the groundskeepers will start promptly working at 6am with hammers and saws. All and all-I personally had a very stressful stay but it is a masterpiece of design.
