Perfect spot to explore and relax! House was clean and comfortable. Close to great restaurants and beach. If you want a great location to enjoy SD, this is the place. Management company was available if needed. Overall great stay!

The location was great for beach and bay access. For the most part quiet. We could walk most places. Only downside is we were there for two weeks cooking every other day and the kitchen was poorly stocked with basic pots and pans. Asked the host to send over a new set of knifes and a cutting board that was larger than the 10" long one we eventually found tucked in a obscure area. Could have used an extra set of bath and kitchen towels as we needed to wash them every other day. Other than the above issues that was addressed on the first day it worked out great for our stay and will be checking if it is open on our next visit.

Graduation trip

Wonderful and relaxing trip to celebrate a graduation for daughter. Home was great and location perfect for day tripping and sightseeing. Restaurants were plentiful and great choices in all directions. Will be back again!

Quick staycation at beach (fumigation vacation)

We needed a nice spot where my 83 year old parents would feel comfortable and be able to have their dog with them, while their house was being fumigated. This spot helped lower the stress and gave us several days to relax. A couple small issues in kitchen were addressed promptly by the host and communication was excellent throughout.

Great stay in Mission Bay

We stayed at the property for 3 nights for a mini spring break family getaway. The house was perfect for us. Loved that we could walk out of the house and go 2 blocks one way and be at the bay. We really enjoyed walking on the beach there with the whole family late in the afternoon. Plus we could walk the other way and go Belmont Park and the ocean which was about 3-4 blocks away. The 3 bedrooms were great for us as it gave each one of our kids their own bedroom. The two bathrooms were great, and definitely felt like they were upgraded recently. Loved the giant shower in the bathroom behind the kitchen. Living area was super comfortable for the whole family. We also really enjoyed the outdoor pergola with the couch on the front deck. We did not end up using the BBQ but was nice to have that as an option. Would be amazing if they added a fire pit for evenings out there. Kitchen was really nice and had everything we needed. Management company was great with their communication and it was a nice touch that they were there to welcome us when we arrived and give us a quick walk through of Things to Know at the house. Also pets are welcome which is a great bonus, and there is a stackable washer and dryer too. Only issue we ran into was the neighborhood was a little loud on the Friday night we were there but thankfully it quieted down at a certain point. Highly recommend the house and we will definitely look to go there again.

Mission Beach Beauty

This house in Mission Beach, San Diego was spotless and perfectly located just one block from the beach and Belmont Park amusement area. It’s an ideal spot for families looking to enjoy the sun, sand, and nearby attractions. The convenience and cleanliness made our stay comfortable and memorable. Both kids had their own room and place to relax during down time. Definitely a must-use property if you’re visiting Mission Beach!

Neat vacation home between the beach and the bay!

My husband and I invited my 76yo mother to this vacation home to celebrate her birthday and this house was perfect for us. The indoor and outdoor deck spaces are very comfortable. We all had enough privacy while also enjoying the open kitchen, living room and beautiful deck area together. Easy check-in/out, great host communication, fast reliable WiFi, comfortable beds, and fantastic hot water and water pressure that lasted for all three of our daily showers. Easy walking distance to the bay and to the ocean boardwalk. We had a great trip to this vacation rental and have it tagged for future trips. 10/10!

Great location amazing house

The home is just a few feet from the bay and a short block from the ocean and beach “strand”. The living room opened to the deck and gazebo for a true indoor outdoor feel. The bathrooms were brand new and had great features. We loved every minute of our stay here. Oh and we saw water dripping from a cabinet (turned out to be nothing) but we informed the manager of it and the extremely polite and considerate repair man showed up within 10 minutes. No exaggeration, I called from the restaurant while picking up food and he was there before I got back. An amazing house in the right location is a win, but a manager who cares and responds, is a game changer. We’re already planning to go back.

A place so great, I want to rate it bad so no one else knows about it

To be honest, this has been been my favoriteVRBO property that I have stayed in in the last few years. Location is great, and layout was great for the people we had. The indoor / outdoor space was awesome to open up, have some morning coffee and read the paper.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect. Our biggest decision every day was whether to go to the bay or the beach! There are two coffee shops within walking distance (loved the Funky Lemon) and several restaurants. We loved the walkability. The house was clean and we loved the outdoor sitting area.

Great location, literally steps from the ocean beaches on one side, and calmer waters of the bay on the other. House was clean and well furnished, comfortable beds, nothing felt cheap. Good quality kitchen and bathrooms.

Only downside—no hot tub or game room

Small seaside cottage within walking distance of all the action. No noisy neighbors (all the adjacent houses seem original seaside size) or businesses is a huge plus. The cozy place has updated kitchen and bathrooms which are fabulous. Great patio with lush privacy screens aka vegetation and away from cars. TVs in all the rooms and the beds were super soft—we all slept in.

Beautiful Mission beach home

We loved this beautiful, perfect location, quiet, and very clean home. The outside deck is such a bonus and great place to relax. The inside of the home is just as cozy and had everything we needed. Check in and communication was top notch. We would definitely stay here again.
