This place was a very good value for the money. However, it does not have AC which made nights particularly very uncomfortable and hot (up to almost 80). I understand that CA places often use the ocean breeze to cool the place down, but in this unit it meant sleeping with the sliding glass doors open which is not safe (and not an option for first level condos), Also, the County of San Diego runs trucks on the beach to clean the sand starting at 4:30am so even if the doors are left open, the trucks are very loud in the mornings and will wake up the whole house. We enjoyed our stay, but the AC is an issue and the condo was a bit outdated. The ice machine was broken as well, and the beach chairs are in really bad shape. Overall, a nice place to stay for the price, but it had a few bumps along the way most of which property management tried to address timely.
