What a great stay - an amazing and huge patio overlooking the beach and pier. We could watch the sunset and see the pier from the bed. Morning coffee on the patio was perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on in a long time. The courtyard, with lights, a fountain and three stories of tables and chairs overlooking the ocean and surfers. On top of it all they are so dog friendly and accommodating, going over the top. Great and friendly staff. Definitely will be coming back and met other regular guests as well. Perfect spot in Ocean Beach.

The hotel is very convenient and very close to the beach—it takes only one minute to walk there. It’s also in the middle of all the restaurants and bars in downtown OC. However, it’s very small compared to the price we paid; on the website it looks bigger and nicer than it actually is. Plus, it’s noisy. If you’re not a dog fan, you might want to skip this one because the hotel is dog-friendly, and the dogs do make noise sometimes.

This was a nice hotel in a good location, right beside the Ocean Beach stores, cafes, shops; right across the street from the beach. The bathroom was a little bit compact, but useable. The rooms were decent; nothing fancy. Only issue was noise from other people at the hotel coming and going; children being loud, dogs barking and the acoustics that come with wooden stairs and balconies. Otherwise, it was a good stay. Nothing luxurious or upscale, but it was a good time.

The older lady at the front desk was unfriendly & I definitely did not feel welcomed by her. Furthermore the heater in room did not work and the room felt cold. My experience was cold and unwelcoming unfortunately.

The room was spotless and the bed was surprisingly comfy. The staff was super friendly and when I asked for fresh sheets, they got them right away. They also cleaned the whole room and restocked everything.
