“This beach house was everything we hoped for and more. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having direct beach access was unforgettable. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and well-equipped for cooking and relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor space was perfect for sunsets. The host provided clear instructions and great local recommendations. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and memorable getaway.” I just realized I had booked this place and then revised my booking and ended up getting the one directly next-door to this house so my review is for the other house not this one.

The property is as nice as it could be! Very well decorated and clean! It's almost unassuming location makes it a diamond in the rough! Loved it! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Blissful vacation

Amazing stay! The house was cozy. It has a large deck with ample space for kids to play safely. Our very own sand box was so fun for the kids. The house is open concept it was a 9minute walk to Belmont Park. Stocked with beach chairs and goodies to use for your stay. Cornhole was fun.

Fantastic Outdoor Patio, Comfortable Interior

We booked this home for the outdoor patio, which did not disappoint! The sand area was a big hit for our children and there was a nice dining table with chairs. Inside was nicely furnished and comfortable with everything we needed for our vacation. Parking was a little tight but the manager informed of us that beforehand. That won't stop us from returning in 2023!

We would definitely rent this again. The location was perfect and the furnishings were great. We had some cloudy weather a few days but enjoyed the deck and living room just as much as sitting on the beach. We asked for a blender and another bathmat and new ones were dropped off the next day.

SUCH A BLAST!

We had such a blast at the Rip Curl 1 vacation home. The interior space & outdoor area did not disappoint! Everything was very clean, well maintained, and we LOVED having the patio to ourselves for our family of 5. Only recommendation is new cornhole set, the existing is starting to wear (no biggie!). Thanks so much to the management for their quick response and dining recommendations.

BEST Thanksgiving!

We had the best thanksgiving at this beach house! All the furniture felt new and there was plenty of seating for our family of six. Our children had a blast playing in the sand area, and my husband & parents enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, which also had a shade umbrella. The location was 5 stars, right on the ocean and easy walking to pretty much everything in Mission Beach. Our only recommendation is a few more pots & pans (there was a full set but we needed a bit more for Thanksgiving dinner, ha!).

Heaven on Earth

This place was absolutely perfect for our family trip to wine country. It had absolutely everything we needed and then some. It was so close to Downtown Sonoma with just a few minutes drive, yet was so quiet and peaceful. The house and property was kept up so well. The pool just beautiful and the barn/game room was an added bonus. We got our check in code at the last minute which was stressful but literally the only thing we worried about the entire time. Lovely home for a great family trip. We definitely hope to return again!

Delightful

The outdoor patio was an absolute delight and not shared with the upstairs unit as the ad says. The house felt newly remodeled had nice designer features, well appointed, and had everything you would need for a beach vacation. With 3 kids we liked having 2 full bathrooms. Parking garage was on the small side but we were able to fit an Escalade.

Good morning , I have been staying at your properties for years now and this one was the worst, the owners need to put some money in the basic repairs of the walls and the painting, the house could use some TLC for sure. I will be scratching this property off of my list for future stays. You guys were great as usual so thank you for that

We recently stayed two weeks at this beach rental in San Diego and unfortunately had a number of issues that future guests should be aware of.When we arrived, the home was very dusty and had a strong musty odor. The kitchen cupboards were dirty and grease-laden, and we ended up washing them before using them. The property overall felt quite worn and not well maintained.There were also several maintenance concerns. The refrigerator struggled to keep food cold even on the coldest setting, the ice tasted stale, and the water filter indicator showed replacement was needed. The patio screen door was extremely difficult to open, some shutters were broken, and the master bedroom windows were very old and cloudy, making it hard to see through them.More concerning were a few safety and structural issues. The smoke detectors in the main living area had been removed from the ceiling and were disabled, and there were ceiling leaks in the living room, including one that appeared to be coming through a light fixture.Basic kitchen supplies were also limited for a two-week stay (no hot pads, no can opener, limited utensils, and only one dish towel and dishcloth provided). Only three trash bags were supplied for the entire stay.We also requested a guidebook twice explaining how to operate the fireplace and television but never received one, and the gas fireplace could not be started. Communication about storms and sandbagging around the doors and gates would also have been helpful.
