Loved this place!

We loved this place and highly recommend it! The location is great: steps from the beach on one side and steps to the bay on the other. Amazing views of the ocean, mission beach, and dog beach across the channel. Everything was as described in the posting. The owners were fantastic and provided great communication both before and during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. We would love to stay here again someday.

Beautiful location! The views were amazing to wake up to each morning. Dana and Becky or excellent hosts constantly checking in and making sure everything was great. The unit had so much space for us and was very comfortable. I would definitely rebook next time I am in town.

The location is the best part! We enjoyed sitting in living room area where the view is peaceful and calming. My only disappointment is pictures of home make main rooms look much bigger than they are-but still beautiful!

Cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing. Lots to do nearby. The condo is well organized and comfortable, with lovely water views on two sides. Our host was in touch to make sure we were settled and happy. Great experience.

My mom, sister, son, and I stayed here to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday. The views are amazing and the property is clean and well kept. We really appreciated the extra touches like beach towels, ziplock bags, and laundry pods. If you plan on cooking, there is good assortment of dry spices, which I assume are left from previous guests. I think this is worth mentioning since I've been at some places that don't allow this, which makes it a hassle to cook. The property owners stayed in touch to ensure we got in and everything was ok. I would definitely book this place again.

Great family location

The spacious penthouse easily accommodated our party of 6 adults and 2 young children. The location allowed easy access to beaches on both the ocean and the bay sides. Becky was very responsive to our requests, including sending out a window cleaner to clean the burd mess on the picture window. Aside from the airplane noise, it was a fabulous stay.

Amazing Location! Amazing Hosts!

Just completed a fantastic week at the property. Incredible views - perfect amenities, close to everything, yet secluded from the Memorial Day madness. Views were more than expected, enjoyed watching the ships come in and saw multiple dolphins and Sea Lions/Seals in the channel! Overall fantastic place.

This was a delightful place to relax and enjoy the ocean! Every detail was thoughtful. The staging (towels, treats, and decorations) were charming! Our hosts were easy to reach and very accommodating!

A very lovely stay!

Everything was wonderful in this beautiful penthouse. The view was to die for. The newly remodeled kitchen was perfect and had everything you could ever need. Bathrooms were remodeled and so nice. Beds were comfortable. The only downside we noticed was some of the floors were really sandy under bare feet and my daughter was wiping up something off the floor and the damp paper towel she used was black when she was done. We tried it on other spots in the living room and it was the same. A few spiderwebs around the lamps too. Other than that we loved it and highly recommend it to anyone with a large group.

Early Thanksgiving with the Kids

Our family of 6 all met for an early Thanksgiving in San Diego. There are three dogs between us so this beautiful, dog friendly place as ideal with enough rooms/bed for the whole family. The penthouse is worth it for the view and location. The house is well stocked with kitchen items if you are cooking and plenty of sitting. We will differently be back.

Beautiful Beach Stay

This place has stunning views, is beautifully designed, and everything feels new and works well. The owner Dana is very communicative, quick to reply, and accommodating. Everything you could need is right here: the beach toys and storage, the outdoor shower, the great cookware and kitchen supplies, even giant fans of you need an extra breeze. The only downside is the sound of airplanes and people driving down to the beach, but that’s to be expected on this corner slice of Mission Beach.

Family Wedding getaway

Pictures don't do justice, it has beautiful, amazing views of Jetty, beach, bridges, park and sunset!!! Place was stocked to the max, owners were first class in service and welcoming to their penthouse. This is a place where families can make great memories. We are thinking of next vacation stay already, and this is one of the best part of Mission Beach, quiet and clean!! Thank you Dana and Becky!!

50th Wedding Anniversary Family Vacation

This is a beautiful house in a perfect beach location! It is even nicer than it looks in the listing! The rooms are spacious, the place has great amenities and the views from the wrap-around windows are fabulous! So close to the beach, shopping and Belmont Park. Our family of 11stayed comfortably for a week in the summer. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect spot

We met for a girls’ trip. The place is stunning from the moment we walked in with views of the channel and the beach and lovely furnishings. There is lots of seating, two tables and a counter. The kitchen is large and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are recently remodeled. We couldn’t have asked for anything more perfect for our three nights there. We walked on the beach and went on short trips to Coronado Island, La Jolla, and the waterfront for a harbor tour and to eat at Seaport Village. Owners were easy to communicate with and eager to have us enjoy our time. There was a plumbing issue in the building and the water had to be turned off. They let us know and gave us a smalll refund.

An amazing week!

My family and I truly had the best experience staying at Dana and Becky’s beachfront rental. We created beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. First of all, Dana and Becky are gracious hosts and were accessible the whole week. We had a couple minor issues come up but Dana answered right away when I called and got his team out to the condo to fix the problem. The condo is beautiful, it’s large and looks like it was recently updated. The views of the ocean and bay are the best thing about this place, there are expansive glass windows lining the walls of living room. It created such a serene environment. The condo is well stocked, the owners thought of everything. It was extremely clean. We just felt so comfortable staying there the week. I wish we could have stayed longer but would definitely love to come back and just thankful to Dana and Becky for making it such a special family vacation.

Great location with great views!

We visited Mission Beach to visit with my daughter who is stationed with the navy, in San Diego. The property was as advertised. It was clean and well maintained. Fantastic views from almost every room. Location is at the end of the street with easy access to the beach. Only a short drive into town. The owner communicated well and checked in with us upon arrival and departure. Elevator access was very convenient, as I was traveling with my senior mother and younger granddaughters. Kitchen was well appointed. Seating was comfortable. The faux fireplace was a nice addition as there was a bit of a cold snap during our stay. Only downside was the parking area was a bit tight, although to be honest I was driving a Ford Excursion, which is tight in most places. Overall an excellent place. I would consider staying there again.
