Facilities were not clean, room was awful! Ad for this place is the remodeled rooms which there are 5 of, VERY misleading! Microwave dirty, fridge rusted with a freezer almost full of ice! Everything is rusted on patio. Fan above bed dirty. Bathroom fan had paint pealing off it. We arrived and went to beach first. Upon unpacking we discovered the issues. There about 3 hours, highly angry they wouldn’t issue a refund for first night!

We had a horrible experience with our room. I paid more to have an oceanfront view and you could only see the ocean from the patio if you were outside looking over the ledge. The room had a weird stench, the floor was coming up, the towels were awful and stained, there was a burn mark on the bedding and it was absolutely not updated at all. We even left a day early.

I never stayed at the property, I arrived at 7:30 pm and no one was there to check me in. I had to leave and check in elsewhere and they charged my card even though I never checked in.

The amenities are a bit outdated; however, I chose this hotel for its location, and it DID NOT disappoint! I imagine the décor is intentionally designed to match the hotel’s vintage charm, so don’t be surprised if the rooms look dated. The staff were all extremely accommodating. I’ll definitely be returning next year!

This place is good if you are traveling with dogs. The hotel was okay for a quick night’s rest, but I’m not sure I would stay for more than one night. The balcony was a nice feature, but the room itself felt very outdated. The proximity to the beach was convenient, although it’s a dog beach, so there are plenty of off-leash dogs. There’s also quite a bit of homelessness on the beach and around the hotel. When I was leaving around 6:00 AM, there were homeless individuals underneath the outside stairwell just a few steps from my truck, which made me feel uneasy. The hotel charges a $15 parking fee, so you would expect the area to be gated or at least more secure, but it isn’t. I usually travel solo with my son, and I personally wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone traveling alone with small kids. The incidental fee is $150. On the positive side, the room did have a coffee machine, microwave, and small fridge. The TV was nice, though not a smart TV. The beds were comfortable. They provide shower towels, but no shampoo or body wash. Overall, I’m not sure I would stay here again.

The staff was great, our checkin was nice and quick and our views were great! The bed was comfortable as well. The only complaint was the shower water pressure was really bad and we had an issue with the TV. We had a nice trip and the location was great, we would stay again, thank you!

This place was a total dump. There was gross staining in the shower and a sewage smell coming up out of the drain, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the sink, barely drained, and would fill up while trying to wash your face or brush your teeth. I didn’t take a shower for the entire four nights stay that I was there. The staff was very friendly. It made absolutely no sense that you had to pay $15 a night for parking when it is not an enclosed lot or gated or anything. It’s basically just aThe staff was very friendly. The reason I was staying there was because my aunt flew in from Virginia for the national Pickleball tournaments and she wanted to be close to the Barnes tennis center.
