Yes, this property is not as “luxurious” as other Kimpton properties but it is TOTALLY worth the location. Quiet neighborhood, lots of food options and you don’t have to deal with hobos, drug addicts and human feces like you would in the downtown/SOMA area. Union St and shopping is a nice walk over the hill and an easy, convenient bus stop that takes you right to the Ferry Bldg is across the street. I only wish it had a TV with streaming options. Nobody does cable anymore!

Room was clean, good location, parking easy. The walls are super thin, I didn’t get any sleep. I could hear EVERYTHING happening in the room next to us. I am not a light or sensitive sleeper. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We live in the bay area and just wanted a cozy night in the city. I would not book this hotel again.

The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. The parking is easy, although we noticed it did fill up and charging stations were sometimes occupied by non-EVs. The beds are very comfortable. The staff is friendly. They offer a charming hot chocolate bar with morning coffee.
