I booked this hotel because the pictures made it look nice and in a decent area of San Francisco. I did not know that I was going to be charged $94 on top of deposit for a resort type fee and it was around $70 per day to do valet parking. There was a nearby parking structure but it only allowed until 10 PM. We had to find parking on the street and it was a very bad area. Lots of homeless and drug abuse. People were out yelling all night long. My windshield and sunroof were damaged from my car being vandalized by parking out on the street. Very very upset I chose this hotel! If you choose to stay here, be aware of the fees and valet park only and know it’s in a rough area!

This is a great hotel and conveniently located near the theater. Valet parking was expensive but in the city, worth it and a very nice option to have. Just beware, the neighborhood is loud at all hours of the night.

Had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is new and beautiful. I was concerned after reading reviews before booking the hotel (regarding safety due to homelessness close by); however, it was not bad at all and we felt safe at all times. Security was always there, and even coming in and out late night (10pm-3am) it all felt safe even when security was not outside on the street.

Disappointing

The property looks great in photos but as others mentioned as soon as you step outside it is super sketchy. On the up side, hotel security guy I spoke to was great, but the rest of the staff - from the front desk to the housekeeping - was very lackluster. Also, I opened a ticket with Hilton regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and was assured the manager would contact me but they failed to do so over my 5 night stay.
