I’ve stayed at the Timbri since when it was the Line. Clean rooms. The shower pressure is perfect. Water gets hot quickly. Comfortable bed and great AC/heating. Staff is super nice. Early check in is possible if the room is ready. No guarantee of course, but their lobby is set up well with plugs and tables. It’s one block from the Powell station. If you need to stay downtown, this is the place. I’ll be back in two weeks for a longer visit. Obviously, the neighborhood is sketchy but there are guards and the “locals” don’t bother anyone. It really is fine.

The staff were helpful. The valet was very convenient a bit pricey but added some reassurance. The room was clean however the bath tub didn’t work in our room and weren’t able to get it fixed within our stay. The room was clean and we had a nice view of the streets.

San Francisco is back and the timbri is making it happen! Spent a long weekend in the city after 5 years away and it was much needed and the Timbri made it a success. Located right next to the street cars, quick access to muni metro, BART etc made the getting around the city a breeze. When needing to explore further or faster it was easy to get an uber or Waymo. The rooms were amazing, wonderful shower and a great view of the Warfield and golden gate theaters. Staff was wonderful and accommodating holding my bags after check out. Extremely secure and amazing views from rise over run and wonderful breakfast from spoke. Also daily housekeeping is hard to find post covid but this place has it. Also for a room in the city it was quite large. Cannot recommend enough and can’t wait to return.

The hotel and room were very clean. I appreciate the complementary water bottles in the room. The staff were genuinely nice and super accommodating. We got to the hotel later than planned bc of travel delays. Only issue we had was valet left our car by the street all night the first night and never parked it in the lot, but they comp’ed the parking for us that night without even having to ask as soon as I mentioned it. The hotel is def in a dangerous part of town and I did not feel comfortable being out after sunset and would not walk anywhere day or night around the hotel despite security always being visible and present. Would not recommend this hotel if you have children bc of the amount of people that hang outside after dark and constant sirens all hours of the night on the weekend.

The room was really nice and the staff were attentive. The only downside was the location of the hotel being so close to high amounts of crime and homelessness, but there was always a security guard at the door.

Don’t let the Waterworks fixtures fool you. The Timbri is among a crop of over-designed hotels with little substance. The bed was terrible, the built in sofa in my room was *covered* in stains, the phone didn’t work. I shared this feedback at checkout and they waived my resort fee as a courtesy but it hardly makes up for 4 nights of awful sleep. As for the area, I wouldn’t recommend staying in this part of town to anyone who finds drug use, homelessness, or mental illness upsetting or unsafe. The staff do their best to keep the outside clean but the smell of urine is pretty bad at times. Shout out to Kerry on the security team. He was kind, funny, and super friendly. They’re lucky to have him!
