My first Italy stay ever. We enjoyed our stay overall it was during the busy season and prices were higher everywhere else so did take that into consideration. We were in a room with a balcony which was nice but it was august and hit with no air conditioning. We are from the US so hotels without AC are an anomaly for us and it was hot but everywhere else is hot too. We had the window open and the balcony door open but there was a lot of traffic and it was pretty loud I slept my wife didnât sleep very well just cause of the traffic but we stayed three nights and it was a good base camp for us. Outside was pretty inside was a little run down but we enjoyed our stay.
Loved this place!!! It is not modern but it is cute and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was great with the most amazing view of the mountains. We were here late May and most places around were closed for the season still. We did find a few places not far but not walking distance.
The breakfast was good as well as the view was very nice. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels. There is a lot of noise from the traffic passing on the road and the shower doors were slightly broken but still closed tight.
Rooms look nothing like the photos. Very old and dated nothing has been improved in years. Wouldnât return wouldnât recommend and not friendly to motorcyclists.
Our stay at Hotel Piaz was fine. Parking was easy and so was our check in process. We went into one room and the shower door was broken so the very helpful front desk lady let us switch to a new room. It wasnât the best hotel Iâve stayed at, but from here we visited Seceda, Vallunga, and Ortisei. It wasnât dirty, just a little dingy and could maybe use a remodel. The lights werenât too strong so it was just a little dark most of the time. We were able to walk to a restaurant to get some good dinner. The hotel had a restaurant too but didnât open until later. The hotel also has a free breakfast that was a nice start to the day. Overall it was clean and a fine stay that allowed us to explore the Dolomites.
